Pulled down the deck this weekend (Amherst, NY). Highway department says they do not schedule special pickups and will only take 40-50 lbs per week curbside. The old deck was 230 SQ ft pressure treated lumber so it would take forever to get rid of it that way. Can't burn because of stain and chemicals. Looking to unload somewhere for free as I struggle morally to pay for something i'm getting rid of. Anyone have a similar experience or a woodchuck I could borrow?

KR/WR Andre Roberts (Jets) to Bills

Okay, you're crazy. This was so much more true 10, even 5, years ago. There are many ways around special teams risks in the modern NFL. Any coach preaching a three phase game is equally important doesn't actually think that. To think he'll have more impact on this team than the other 7 FA offensive players (4 starters, ateast) is down right certifiable. I should know. I am emotionally unstable. -

Thanks. It's definitely a strong number. Unfortunately no other Jets returned punts last year so it's hard to have some perspective as to how much of his production was based on his talent vs. surrounding cast and scheme. The Bills' return men averaged between 5-8 yards per return on punt returns in 2018, regardless of who was carrying the ball. To me, it wasn't necessarily a lack of talent that was pinching those numbers. -

You could make that argument, sure. But on the list of things that is potentially the reason the bills lost or won two games, it is near the bottom. There are many, many more important aspects of the game that could be difference makers in tight games. Could this be one? Sure. But the few additional yards that guy is getting us probably won't be the reason we make or miss the playoffs. I'm.not knocking the signing, as much as you might try to portray these comments in that narrative. All im highlighting is the thought that I don't think the excitement over this signing is as warranted as many people are making it to be. The ST coach and surrounding cast are equally, if not more, important than who is carrying the rock. -

Sure it's an asset. Did you miss where I acknowledged it as an upgrade or an improvement? I'm simply stating I don't think it's as much of a leg up as many ppl here seem to think it will bring this team. I hope I'm wrong. I just don't see myself watching the Bills winning football games next year because of this guy. Temper expectations -

Any team that is relying on their return man to win a game against last year's Bills, is not a team im proud of. I get that he could offer some great returns. So can other guys. Some people on Twitter are jumping up and down like we just signed Dante Hall back when he used to throw up the X. Good point, I'll have to go back and look at those numbers. -

It's great to upgrade at any position. Bringing in the top guy, even at long snapper, is an improvement. That being said, I'm not nearly as excited as some of you are about this pick up. In a league where more than 50% of kicks result in touchbacks, im not too sure how much of an up grade this contributes to the team as a whole. I'd be pumped to see some kick return TDs, which we've been starved for in recent years. But in perspective, this signing will have little impact. His average return yards on KO were about 29 (far better than all others). But is that 4 yards on average the difference between a successful offensive drive leading to points instead of a three and out? Probably not. -

Using remaining cap dollars for extensions

Yes, there is. It offers a long term assurance and security that they'll be retained. Additionally it allows you to front load a contract while you have the extra money and leave less guarenteed money on the table down the road. -

Despite many fans focus on his pass rush ability, he is tremendously good against the run. I'd love it -

The team with the highest amount of cap to spend have made a single move (Funchess at 11mill). Meanwhile guys are being snatched up left and right to good contracts. Is Ballard asleep at the wheel, or does he have something brewing that I'm not seeing?

Dooms Day scenarios aside, I'm curious what fans believe to be the worst possible outcome of free agency and the draft. Exclude any injuries or off fied issues for current players and try to focus on moves, acquisitions (or lack there of) that you think would be terrible for the team. Let's see how bad things can get!

Big fan of mystery/thriller author Harlan Coben. A few of his best: The Stranger Tell No One Gone for Good The Woods Live Wire Short chapter page turners, great for a quick read before bed.

If they don't sign Skinner, this team is in real trouble. Even if they are able to bring him back, they are already looking.for additional scoring help through free agency or a trade. I just don't see this roster changing all that much between now and next year. Unless they love Risto, I fear this team is in for another let down year waiting for kids to grow into their shoes. And this is IF they are able to bring him back.
