What will it take to understand that EJ is not good? If one can not see this by now, what's the point.

I suspect if not sometime in the next 2 weeks, most definitely at years end. What coaching staff is going to trust him with even a backup position? He crapped out against arguably the worst team in the NFL. If i'm a coach, i'm not touching this guy.

Goal line stand, pick 6, 13 completions by Bortles, only 210 total yards until that last 85 yard referee aided phantom PI drive, and 13 points allowed. Yep that defense sure wilted, PLEASE! Defense was good today, they were sabotaged by their own QB and a bad pass interference call.

Amazing how quickly people forget how terrible EeeeeJay was last year, yet remember how bad Cassel was years ago. Then proclaim EJ as great maybe even better than TT and also forget EJ was in street clothes just a couple of weeks ago, and it was not because of injury. Whatever!

Disagree, IMO Cassel would have been Bradyesque, and Manningesque, (both statues by the way) at getting the ball out in about 2 seconds. FWIW, MC, not nearly as gifted physically as EJ or TT, has shown the ability to read the coverage pre snap and know where to go with the ball pre snap. That's something that both EeeeeeeJ and TeeeeT seem to be lacking.

Maybe against inferior teams. How did he fair against NE and NY in the second half? I know I know you will say he came back against NE (even though they went full prevent) and would have against the Giants (had they not been screwed by the refs). He is so much better QB when he can adlib and play sandlot football, this is a sandlot league and he will be shut down sooner than later.

So by your logic the Bills running game was good against Tenn and doesn't need to improve? I mean look at the stats 28-127 and 1 TD with 4.5 per carry. Pretty good day right, until you actually know what happened and know how those numbers were achieved. That rushing performance was terrible and can't sustain if they want to win, just like TTs performances vs NE, NY, and now Tenn. Sure in the end his numbers were ok but to anybody who watched can see his QB play can't continue like that if the Bills want to win, regardless of his stats TT was not good.

Would this be equal to anointing a QB or QBs as great because they had exceptional preseason stats? Because a lot of that went on here.
