  1. I agree with all who said the Monday night game against NE when McKelvin fumbled the kick off. It is a classic example of one guy putting his own interests above the team. Considering the history and then Jauron defending the decision it was a moment where all feelings mixed together....anger, frustration, sadness, bewilderment, depression and the complete desecration of hope and belief. Why?
  2. Who says it was a joke. Maybe a protest of the folks on the ballot and maybe the person values the qualities Kiko emulates....quiet, honest tenacity for the job he was tasked to do. Anyone offended may not understand why we have the process in the first place. Then again that is assuming an awful lot about the person who did this. Here's to a proserpous future with whatever elected official takes office!
  3. Why wait for goal line for this? This should be apart of every down offense! Heck even throw Choice in a 2 back set...they run enough read option as it is. Play action with Fred or Choice up the gut, down field pass or CJ in a sweep toss or pass in the flat. Hell line up in that formation and make the d burn a time out. There must be a reason this isn't happening...let me know when you find out.
  4. If this has been said already forgive me....276 rushing yards! The most in a loss since 1976! Other team's fans don't understand that it is simply not just a loss....it is the manner with which they lose that is so painful. I love the no quit of this team. Hard nosed football with most of these guys. Go Bills knock the snot out Pittsburgh!
  5. He played as well as I expected. He didn't fumble for the TD. And that pick was blown coverage that was such dumb luck I can't stand it. Figure out how to power one in from the friggin 1 foot line and there are 2 more wins this year! Oh yeah someone needs to ask Chandler if was up for playing football today. That candy a$$ can't fight for YAC with the smallest db on him and nice hands today dude. What a giant wuss.
  6. Ball back in the second half and shove it down their throats!!
  7. Neither EJ nor Thad was lighting it up out there. They made some throws, missed a few more and showed guts that everyone loved. That being said I want to see Tuel out there if Lewis can't go. Marrone likes him and with a week of practice and a game plan that suits his talent level it will be a much better indicator of his ability. The Browns game was ridiculous....but it was a snapshot in a very difficult situation. At home with the team pumped up to knock off an undefeated team....I would like to see Tuel if Lewis can't go.
  8. Dan Dierdorf, Jim Nantz, Joe Buck and Mike Tirico are really good at what they do and never annoy me to the point where I have to mute the game when they commentate for the Bills.
  9. I love the optimism, but the guy was on the practice squad and had time to prove he did not belong there. I would absolutely love to see this kid set the world on fire and put up a few TD's a week after the Hateriots (my 7 year old daughter came up with that week 1) could not!
  10. I am a bit concerned. Hopkins was just placed on IR to make room for Lewis....Sully's article indicates that Tuel was on the roster and Lewis on the practice squad to possibly keep Tuel from being picked up by another team. So basically they were holding a spot for Hopkins (2 kickers one injured) and only having 2 active QB's to keep a "work in progress" from being picked up away from them? Those are the type of decisions that make me question any of the thinking going on over there. The in game decisions haven't been too bad, but this has me questioning much more. Go Bills!
  11. I think maybe you should have started by explaining how football works...it begins with the line on both sides of the ball. Control the line of scrimmage and your team will make plays. QB's look better, RBs look better and so on. I was woefully unimpressed by the O-line and D-line play. Sure there were miscues on the so called "skilled" positions, but all teams that are successful at blocking on O and penetrating and tackling on D win ball games.
  12. I love what EJ did with the final drive and CJ's explosive ability, but Fred Jackson played extremely well today! He got much needed yards in key situations and...oh yeah one heck of a TD! How about some CJ and FJ on the field at the same time!?!? What a game! Great job D! Go Go Buffalo!
  13. Penalties by far number one. Too many self inflicted problems that cost conversions and ball control. CJ being shut down, but not just on CJ's shoulders...this is on the plays designed to get him the ball and the execution of those plays and lastly he looked like he was forcing too much. Lastly and pretty much always a theme third down conversions. The only way to have a stout D stay stout an entire game is to have them not play 1.5 games each outing. You give the opposition the chance to run the most offensive plays of the weekend....guess what your D will break down in key late game drives. Offense needs to convert and stay on the field....even more so with hurry up! Ok I am off the soap box, but man I need to vent!
  14. Because I was too hungover when I got home from a weekend golf trip to put on my Bills game day shirt or even crack a single beer. Oh yeah and at some point I actually thought they wouldn't break my heart with this new staff!
