Patrolling the the three lakes in Austin.
-
How will giving them less money fix the problems of cops killing black people? Do they kill them with dollar bills? Do you have ANY clue how twisted up you've got yourself?
-
Did you read that they use the water skis to patrol the three lakes in Austin? Or that the snacks are for domestic violence victims? No. Of course you didn't. You took the low-hanging fruit and assumed it must be true. Again. Admit it. You want no police, but when sane Americans pushed back on the "Defund the Police" mantra, the far left nutbags (see Kamala Harris, etc) quickly pivoted to "Well, what me really mean is not what we're saying, even though everyone knows what we mean when we say "Defund the Police." But hey...nice try. Maybe tomorrow you'll come up with a better explanation of the phrase you constantly have to explain.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
IDBillzFan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So let me get this right: in relative terms, people are getting sick, but the number of people actually dying from COVID now is incredibly small. Odd, given the continued media panic. This is probably where Cuomo explains how his governance helped bring that number down by sentencing so many people to certain death at nursing homes when this thing started out. That Cuomo. He's a real man of the people. -
As I've repeatedly said, I could never knowingly become a Democrat because of the ever-present #1 requirement to be Democrat: you absolutely must be as dumb as a mop.

Trump's Tulsa Rally: America Strikes Back
IDBillzFan replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I disagree. Not even Election Day will be as entertaining as the debates. Biden can barely complete a full sentence in a controlled environment reading a teleprompter. If I were stupid enough to be a Democrat and think BIden was my best chance to unseat Trump, the debates would absolutely horrify me. You can rant about Trump and you can rant about policy, but no truthful human has watched Joe Biden for the past two months and didn't think, "Dude is full-on batschittcrazytown." -
Bills troll Steelers' first voice tweet
IDBillzFan replied to AmishRifle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't wallow about a silly Tweet about barely beating a 4th string QB. There's no upside to finding fault in a win other than just being a whiny fan. And only Bills fans will remember the night they went into a tough road stadium in prime time and won a game that clinched the second playoff spot in three years. Now, this is probably where you tell me that you just hold the team to a higher standard than fans who rejoiced a clinched playoff spot. -
Bills troll Steelers' first voice tweet
IDBillzFan replied to AmishRifle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I swear some of you are so jilted you're unable to enjoy anything. If you had any optimism at all, you'd realize the Bills finally have a team that can adjust and win in the spotlight. After the big win on Thanksgiving Day in front of the world, they get flexed to a prime time game vs. the Steelers, didn't flinch, and came away with a win that clinched a second playoff spot in three years. So, no. They didn't just beat a Duck. The finally didn't beat themselves. They're become a team that wins the games they're supposed to win. Anyone can find misery. Trying finding joy. -
CHAZ Seattle Observations

Not a sensationalized take. Watch the cop cams of the incident. https://spdblotter.seattle.gov/2020/06/20/homicide-investigation-inside-protest-area/ -

CHAZ Seattle Observations
IDBillzFan replied to RocCityRoller's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Except reports are that the CHOADS refused to let police or medical personnel in to help, which is why one person died. They let a person die. -
It actually does make sense, just not in the way normal people think. The cameras are rolling 24-hour chaos being orchestrated and abetted by the left, both on a local and national scale. Chaos is scary to most people, who just want to get home from work and be with their family, hoping that maybe the Chinese flu will subside enough for a summer vacation. Now throw in the incredible success of the cancel culture, getting people fired for cracking a knuckle, and you add a new layer of fear. Not only should I stay home, but I should shut up. Next the Never Trumpers will start to argue that Trump is doing nothing, and the federal government should get involved when, in reality, Trump is playing this right: the only areas being impacted right now are areas under leftist rule for years over years. Let them burn...because while some Americans are a bit afraid, those who are most afraid are in the leftist cities. They're getting what they voted for. Let's see what they think about their local government when November comes around. But make no mistake. This is no accident and it makes perfect sense for the people who are orchestrating it.

It's funny to me that in one breath you make the comment above, and in the next breath you somehow, remarkably also believe the answer is Bernie Sanders, a guy who has been in one elected office or another for 40 years and who's sole accomplishment has been to use that time to buy three houses while railing against people who own three houses. I think you actually just cancelled yourself.

For your amusement.

I've never been one to make bold NFL predictions because I simply know I'll never have the knowledge and insight to players or coaches to the extent that I can tell for certain whether they will be successful. But I'm damn willing to bet the farm on your statement. Of all the coaches you could grab when you have a shiny new first-round quarterback, the only way Gase would be near the top of the list is if the list was alphabetical. And I'm not even sure THAT works for him. He was a problem in Florida, and I'm convinced he'll be a problem for the Jets.

In general, your take here is correct. And his opening sentence notwithstanding, the writer did a terrific job giving a bit of a deep dive into things Allen has to work on. I learned a lot from this piece. In fact, if you DID spend more time reading online articles, you'd see how articles like this (as well as the stuff Lori used to post here) are far and away better than anything you'd find coming out of something like the Athletic where Buffalo sports are concerned. This stuff is the meat of what a Bills fan enjoys to read about their players' development, and it beats the daylights out of another "Let me write an article that also makes underhanded slaps at players, coaches and owners because they make a lot of money and I need you to pipe up $3/month so I can afford my Top Ramen." Anyone can be a sports journalist. Not everyone can be good at it. Unfortunately, that doesn't keep them from letting anyone be a sports journalist.

Sean McDermott meets with media 6/17
IDBillzFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has Bellicheck* answered this question yet? What about Andy Reid? Shanahan? Gruden? McVay? Carroll? Arians? Why is no one asking these coaches the same question? Why not go through the entire league, head coach to head coach, and get them all on the record for this stupidity? Because that's what it is: stupidity. -

I'm starting to get the distinct feeling you're not a McDermott fan. -

I disagree. Offseason is ridiculously boring. I watched one poster start a thread exclusively to call out a Bills fan for the clothes he was wearing at a game. That thread would never survive the regular season but it survives in the off season because there is not much to talk about about. When the kneeling threads start during the regular season, the threads will start, but you'll see the large number of fans who just want players to STFU and play football. I know it's politically correct to post stupid black boxes these days and get emails from my pet store ensuring I know that Black Lives Matter to them, but mark my words; America is tired of this stuff overflowing into their past times. Like I said, people can get their feelz somewhere else without having to have it forced into their past times. -

A lot of posters here think Zubaz should make a comeback and fried bologna sammiches qualify as breakfast food. In the end, most fans simply want their football straight up, no mixers. -

He really is. The most impressive thing to me is how quickly he will admit an error, and then work to adjust it. Always work the problem. Always. The high off-season praise is a bit worrisome for me, just because people love to lift things up to watch them fall, but damn the stars are aligned, and he's the right guy to lead this group. I'm totally on Team McBeane. But then again, I'm a homer. I'm just excited to be competitive again, and very glad I don't follow hockey. -

It's sounds more like 'stop asking stupid questions' response. Because in the end, he does care about his players, he will support his players, but he also knows most fans don't give a flying schitt about the coach kneeling. Most fans don't follow the Bills to get their fill of social justice. They want to watch a sport we love. If we need the feelz, we'll watch The View with a mocha double latte while adjusting our manbun. -
This picture of a fan in a Bills jersey makes me cringe
IDBillzFan replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd rather dress like this guy at a football game a hundred times than ever wake up to find out I was a person who thought this was a valuable thought to post on a Bills message board. Grow up, brother. Pretty much no one cares what you think of their dress habits.
