I think as a DB, you look back when you think the ball is in the air. Any time sooner, and you are going to lose your guy. on an underthrown ball, as a DB, you have no chance— because when you are running and then looking back, the WR in front of you just suddenly stops. You are going to collide into him. Just not a fair play.

Either way, it shouldn’t be a penalty. They are now rewarding a terrible throw and penalizing great coverage.

Might correlate to the dumbness of the rule— the whole underthrown ball DPI is absurd. That’s the one rule I hope they change. If the ball is underthrown, it should be deemed “not catchable.”

Agreed. I am not taking my three elementary age kids to a regular season NFL game and dropping like $1000, and they probably won’t even enjoy it, and I will be mostly distracted myself. Also, the team is really missing out on developing more young fans. When I was a kid, I got into the Bills because they held a pre-season practice at my local HS in Rochester in the mid 80s. Got to get a bunch of autographs and see the players up close, for free. Really ignited my passion in the team.

Same boat. I have tried for the last 5 years, but with no chance. I live out of the area, but happen to be in Rochester on Monday July 29, so was hoping to take my kids to their first TC session. wish it were like the old days and like most other camps— in a sleepy town, with sprawling fields and areas for parking and for fans to just walk in. oh well. If anyone has tickets to the 29th and doesn’t want them, I will take them! Thanks.

I saw on bb.com that there is some lottery this year for TC tickets, as opposed to the prior years’ terrible system where you log in and are 230,000 in line. i submitted my “entry” but haven’t heard anything; not even an email confirmation. Has anyone gotten any communication or tickets yet?

Awesome News for the fans. I believe I read that this will force the NFL to provide team-specific packages. Hopefully we can buy a Bills team package for a much cheaper price!

I feel sorry for him. Only going downhill from now. And as a spoiled young fan like this, he will be a fair weather fan, no doubt.

it was a terrible series. The Celtics are solid, but a super boring team. And the Mavs just got stifled. I think the Nuggets would have given us an overall better series. Don’t think the Celtics have anyone who can guard Jokic.

Just finished three seasons of the Baxters on Prime. Pretty solid. It’s like a faith-based soap opera!

re Bass, kicking seems similar to golf. I know there golfers out there that kind of practice slices and pulls, and then practice correcting those. Maybe he is doing the same? It’s good to practice figuring out mechanics and how to fix things so if he has to do it on game day, he knows how to adjust.

Agree. Is there a less coachable athlete than LeBron? Why go there if he won’t even let you coach?

reminds me of how the Steelers won both their recent super bowls. Couldn’t beat the pats. In both their runs, another team knocked off the pats for them.

I was always thought this was the entire turning point for this franchise.

This is probably the one guy that deserves this money. But how do you build a team with so much money tied to one wide receiver?
