  1. Good, I think, but I kind of like it the way it has gone this season so far--with the Bills flying high under the radar. You may be correct here, and it would be refreshing to see the Bills getting some exposure, especially now, as they continue to gel, improve, and become playoff ready. I am hoping that if does happen that it does not disrupt their progress. And I think their philosophy will prevent that from happening. (Bills 30 Broncos 10; was hoping to be there to see this coming of age game today, but cannot. Go Bills...)
  2. I voted yes. I was almost shocked when the Bills pursued Brown in the off season. I was happy it did not work out as his character doesn't seem to match the culture the Bills are striving for. But, to me, the Bills are close to a team that could win playoff games and Brown can help make that happen, as the Bills biggest need seems to be a few dynamic offensive play makers. And I assume Brown has been humbled to some degree, or at least understands there won't be many more chances. He would play for this Bills team with Josh Allen as the quarterback.
  3. Yes, at least part of the problem. I will now listen to what Allen said after the game. I think Allen looks very good otherwise and played very well against the Browns. Adding the long ball, completing a decent percentage of those, will help him to take another step forward.
  4. I don't think anyone is calling for pity, but just that Incognito remains on the right track and is successful from here on out in life. While he played for the Bills he was a high quality guard, maybe our best offensive lineman. In fact, he was an important part of the first Bills team to make the playoffs in 17 years. He was also respected by teammates . Why wouldn't every Bills fan wish Richie Incognito well?
  5. Yikes. You really believe that the Patriots' success is based on this? Or just flaming out?
  6. Can someone who knows how to do so set up some kind of good poll to find out what percentage of people on this site think that the Patriots' dominance over the Bills and the NFL itself, is due more to cheating or to other things such as coaching and their organization. I would like to think, or hope, that most believe the latter is true. But I would not bet that is the case. There is almost no backup for those believing the first reason beyond 1-2 incidents and conspiracy theories, it seems. To me, it seems like little kids, or adults, who lose at arm wrestling and always finding some fault, unfairness in their opponent's victory. I would bet that most who believe that it is because of cheating are those same people who say: he twisted my wrist (lifted his elbow, started too soon, used his body, made me laugh, hypnotized me...) when they lose at arm wrestling.
  7. Yes, and it seems like many actually, but then he indicates that he thinks that Belichick, and his son too, are almost coaching gods. So, are they so dominant because of the cheating or because of historically amazing coaching? He indicates one reason in the subject statement, but then clearly implies the latter in his actual post. It seems he cannot have it both ways!
  8. Do others find a post like this very contradictory? In the subject he refers to the tired-old -sour-grapes-nickname for Bill Belichick. But then goes on to indicate that he has almost over the top admiration for the coaching ability of both Bill Belichick and his son, fearing that the dominance of the Belichicks will continue, and in fact progress, for "40+ more years" . While like most Bills fans I am sick of being dominated by the Patriots, I clearly understand that this dominance has nothing to do with cheating. But the poster also clearly implies the same thing. It is not a logical thought process there, and one we see too often on this board..
  9. Almost feel sorry for the guy; could have been a hall of famer, one of the best ever. But he is a nut job. And, now, a pathetic one at that.
  10. I really dislike Rome's show because of calls like this--people trying to kiss up to Rome by giving him the same crap, in the same way, with the same (not funny) humor as everyone else that Rome likes. It became very boring to me quickly and now, it's REALLY, really boring and annoying; I cannot listen to it. Wonder why people are so eager to kiss this guy's kiester, just to get on air? But go Bills today.
  11. Complete BS I laughed when I saw all of the quarterbacks all ranked above Allen. Most of those teams would give up 2 first round picks + to have an opportunity to have Allen as their QB. Morons.
  12. Answers: 1. Zero times 2. Yes Why don't you provide some info, facts, to support your point? Then maybe this would make sense...
  13. Can the poster or someone clarify what is being asked in the poll, "Who get it?" The question needs to be clearer, I think. (For example, what is 'it'?)
  14. Thanks. Was thinking that had to be the case or teams could take advantage of it. Will now be interesting to see what the specific players are payed this year.
  15. If this is the case, then teams can use that to their advantage by offering significantly more if they really want to keep that player but don't want them on the current roster. For me, that leads to the question: Do the salaries on the practice squad count against the team's salary cap?
  16. Come on, open your eyes.
  17. Yes, and also, I too pick Bills because they are Bills. It is one of the reasons I stay away from fantasy football.
  18. Why? What facts and objective information made you do that? I too had hope that he could have a rebound year, but it seems like a bad move unless it was in a late round, a big risk.
  19. More super crazy talk here... The Bills will go 1-6 because they cut a back who averaged 3.2 yards a carry last year! That will cause the bottom to fall out and they will be one of the worst teams in the NFL now. Super nuts.
  20. More than ridiculous here. The Bills cut a player who showed significant decline. During the Levy years, one of the hallmarks of the team is that they almost always cut players on the decline and brought in a stronger option. You are letting emotion guide you rather than the facts.
  21. What crazy talk this is... He averaged 3.2 yards a carry last year.
  22. Ridiculous. Open your eyes.
  23. Nope. Gore is the backup only.
