  1. Bitter is a flavor. Regardless, if you like it less bitter, that is fine. All I was addressing was the serving temperature.
  2. The Bills can't even get the basics right. Gadget plays would be stupid.
  3. The colder you serve beer, the less taste it will have. That is why you see Coors Light commercials telling you serve it as cold as possible. They don't want you to actually taste their "beer." Typically, you serve beer about 5-10 degrees below fermentation temperatures for optimal flavor. If the brewer tells you to serve it colder, then they are trying to dumb down the flavors to get you to drink it.
  4. Since the bulk of your plays out of this formation are runs, the defense just needs to put two people on Lee and nine in the box to stop the run.
  5. I don't think you want to include this in your argument, since he died before he could start his second season with the team.
  6. I wouldn't put it past him.
  7. What's funny is that it still hasn't helped.
  8. HFBD gents!!
  9. He went with 'Bills' as a tribute to the AAFC franchise.
  10. $$$ It is just that simple. George Preston Marshall originally did not want Baltimore in the NFL, since it infringed on his territorial rights. His opinion changed when the league tossed a bunch of money at him. Then, he saw it as a "natural rivalry that could generate more fan interest." Of course, Baltimore sucked in 1950 and closed up shop after the season. BTW: HFBD old-timer!!!
  11. I thought I would spend this week talking about the Original Buffalo Bills {Insert shameless plug for KRC's upcoming book on the Original Buffalo Bills}. This was the first of two regular season games against Cleveland. Buffalo played well in both games and ended up being the only team to go through a regular season and not lose to the Browns. Here is the story of their first meeting that year: September 5, 1949: Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills
  12. That would be a first for him.
  13. So, you don't want to help people out? Remember, only Christians want to help people out. You said so, yourself. Don't have a relationship with Jesus. Again. Not Christian. Try to keep up. Sure you do...
  14. Honestly, you are not following the teachings of Christ in this thread, so you might want to take a step back. Honestly, you don't really follow them in other threads, either.
  15. I'm not Christian, so I guess I am not allowed to vote.
  16. *sigh*
  17. Well, they could always turn to the Professional Football Researchers Association to answer that question.
  18. That is one of the items you usually hear from HOF committees. They want the see the team honor the player before they consider them for the national stage. I still think that the committee is going to downgrade any special teamers. I don't see Guy making it in. If a special teamer goes in, it will be Tasker. I do not see Hull getting in. Tasker and Reed have the best shot from the Super Bowl era and I am having a hard time seeing the committee voting either into the HOF. Honestly? No. None of the three (Talley, Bennett, Smerlas) are qualified for the Hall of Fame. No. The seniors committee is separate and not part of the preliminary list. Honestly, the seniors committee is a joke. It has been a while since I have seen him. How is he doing?
  19. No problem with the disagreement. Honestly, I do not see either Talley or Bennett making it in. If they fall to the seniors, forget it. If either are going to get in, it has to be soon. People like Lewis and Seau are both going to appear on the ballot within the next 10 years. They would have to get in before them. After that...no shot.
  20. Here is the second article in my Hall of Fame series. I discuss the Buffalo Bills on the Preliminary list. The Preliminary Hall of Fame Nominees: Buffalo Bills Edition
  21. Sounds like a great time!! I am glad that you enjoyed it.
  22. The 49ers and Browns have good alumni groups and reunions. The old Colts get together, but it is mainly the 50s Colts teams (championship years). The Bills, however, are the best in combining the eras together to create a cohesive family.
  23. My wife and I paid for everything with our wedding. No financial burden on either set of parents.
