    Does he realize that he is not helping his client with this statement? Or does he care so little for this client (only interested in his presidential aspirations) that it does not matter to him? BTW, those are rhetorical questions.

    This is the type of stuff that can happen when you have a SoS that is more concerned with getting things done, than padding a resume for advancing their political career. The guy has been working his butt off to make progress, and it has been working.

    Not a Trumper, but the FBI does not have jurisdiction. You can also see Joe Biden's comments. DR posted a video of Biden on Page 82 of this thread.

    It ruins the narrative. They have it written as "Ford was intimidated by the men. She didn't have a chance." That narrative goes away with a woman asking the questions. The narrative must remain intact.

    Which should happen shortly after the midterms. Unless the midterms do not give the desired outcome for the Dems. In that case, we need to delay until after the elections in 2020. You know, for the proper amount of investigation.

    Not surprising, but I still don't think Trump will do it (of course, he has proven me wrong in the past). I think the message will be that RR left on his own. I am guessing the GoFundMe page is already online.

    That is my take, as well. RR is feeling the heat and is looking to get out of the fire. However, that is not going to stop any investigations.

    Place your bets now. Looks like it will happen soon, regardless of the outcome. RR leaving or getting fired. You make the call. My guess is that regardless of the message that comes out, it will fall along party lines (Dems - Fired, Reps - Left Job).

    ...and they have already stated what they will do next. They know that they cannot stop the confirmation (just trying to delay it). So, they have already stated that they want to start impeachment hearings as soon as he is seated. They did the same with Trump. They were talking impeachment before he ever took office.
