I can sympathize with your situation. I work with union and non-union contractors on a regular basis. The union jobs are consistently late and over budget. On top of that, the quality of the work is poor at best. I am still amazed that buildings have not burned down as a result of some of the things I have seen.

There is no question that they cost more than they benefit, in terms of government spending. I do not think that there is much debate on that point.

He would make a good third party candidate, but I am not sure if any of the third parties want him. He would need to backtrack on several issues and that would make him a very easy target for the Big Two. He would have to run as an Indy. I can tell you right now that the Libertarians would not take him and they are the largest third party.

I do not see Dean getting elected. He is now relegated to a party official and even that he is being marginalized by members of his own party. They will use and abuse him for his fund-raising abilities, but that is it.

Just wait until a Dem gets in office and does the same thing. The screaming you will be hearing from him would be unbearable.

I have always received the stuff from them and I live out of state. It usually takes an extra day, but I can live with that.

I agree with some of the points you are making. You need to wait for people to be starved of football before you start another league. You also want to have the season end about a month before training camp ends. Also, the gimmick thingy cost them, IMO (which you mentioned). They tried to add too much crap to the game in order to make it different. All they needed to do was tweek things a little. Different camera angles were nice but the rule changes were too much. I understand the rationale behind it in trying to appeal to the WWE crowd, but they alienated the hardcore football people in the process. I still do not think another league will work, but at least they could have had a better chance.

Not just corporate interests, but votes in general. There is an entire voting segment which they could pander to with this stuff.

I did not know the trends, just that it still is kinda high.
