It will be interesting to see how that section works with: Chapter 2 Article (14): Iraqis are equal before the law without discrimination because of gender, ethnicity, nationality, origin, color, religion, sect, belief, opinion or social or economic status and Article (16): Equal opportunity is a right guaranteed to all Iraqis, and the state shall take the necessary steps to achieve this. It will also be interesting to see how this plays out: 1st -- Entities or trends that advocate, instigate, justify or propagate racism, terrorism, ''takfir'' (declaring someone an infidel), sectarian cleansing, are banned, especially the Saddamist Baath Party in Iraq and its symbols, under any name. It will be not be allowed to be part of the multilateral political system in Iraq, which should be defined according to the law.

Shocker, isn't it? Many gas stations are independently owned, which means that they buy gas from whomever they wish. You will see a tanker truck pull up to a Sunoco station, and then drive across the street to the Lukoil station, then drive down the road to the BP station. It is all the same gas, but these "informative" e-mails lead you to believe that the gas at one station is actually different from the gas at another station. It is the same stuff from the same source.

He got as many votes as he did, because he was running against Bush. Kerry tried to be all things to all people. He ran to the center to get moderates. The fringe got ticked off, so he ran towards them. This ticked off the moderates and he then tried running towards the center again. Basically, he showed that he really stood for nothing and he contradicted himself on a regular basis. Any reasonable democrat would have beaten Bush easily. Now the Democrats are running to the far left. They feel that they lost because they were not bitter and hateful enough in their opposition of Bush and anything Republican (their words). They plan to increase this type of rhetoric in an attempt to "fire up their base." The problem is that this part of the base was already fired up due to the Michael Moore's and MoveOn.org's. You do not need to move towards them. You need to go towards the moderates who are turned off by this type of behavior. How do you do this? By being more than just the party of "No!" I have no problem with opposition. Just provide an alternative. I do not see that from the Democrats. They just oppose things but do not provide any solutions. The Republicans at least provide solutions, albeit bad ones. At least they are tossing something out there to work with. I do not see that from the Dems. They will continue to lose election after election until they wake up and realize why they are losing to the Republicans.

They have the right idea. Here in PA, the legislature just voted themselves a massive pay raise. They tried to justify it by saying "well, I am working 60-80 hours per week at this job. I need to be compensated for my time." My response, "well, maybe we need to cut back the hours you are spending on the job. Being a legislator should be a part-time job." Less government - Good. More government - Bad.

Just my opinion, but I think it is to protect America first. Protecting America might involve saving foreign citizens, removing murderous dictators, etc, but the main motiviation is to do those things in an effort to protect America and her interests. Again, this is just my opinion and not based on first-hand knowledge.
