  1. Everyone has different opinions on players, may be able to pick up some very good picks with that 1st and you have the first player if you don't trade back.
  2. I been wishing since McDermott arrived he played a more aggressive defense, that isn't happening. If our defense was aggressive and we got beat in the playoffs I would find it easier to accept. We sit back on our heels and play zone and let the offense dictate everything and just pick our zone apart. Disclaimer though I'm not so sure we have the players to play aggressively, but it would be nice to see for Once against an elite QB.
  3. Poona was basically inactive the whole year wasn't he? Tim Settle IMO was ***** in our defensive system, strange to see him having what seems like a good year In Houston. I seen him play a game this year and I think they said he had like six sacks and my immediate thought was were we misusing him or is our defensive scheme just ass, don't worry their are other reasons I have these thoughts.
  4. We aren't changing the defensive philosophy unless we axe McDermott, this is his defense. Same thing has happened every year in the playoffs.
  5. Might as well have been, then they marched the ball down the field in OT. Undoubtedly, but injuries are nothing new in football. The defense injuries or not have to figure out a way to stop the other teams in the 4th quarter in the playoffs, don't want to be a negative Nancy but we've yet to do this in the playoffs. I think the defensive scheme is flawed myself, wish Schwartz was the DC and we had his system or one alike it in place, but that's impossible when your head coach has his own defensive system. Kinda like how Rex came in and Schwartz was only here 1 year. I hope I'm wrong and will gladly eat my words when we go all the way!
  6. That has in fact been a problem at times, but the 13 second fiasco was horrible, horrible coaching. We have been bit by the injury bug during the playoffs but so have other teams. Injuries or not the last game of our seasons, the defense has always underachieved. The good QBs pick our zone apart come playoff time as we seem to get very little pressure, and the offense has to be really on.
  7. Wish the defense would figure things out in the post season the way you think they might against the Lions 🤞 track records not that good.
  8. So sorry to hear about John, although I don't post on here much been registered for years and of course remember him. May he RIP.
  9. They suck everywhere but this is one of the worst offenses in the league, that's the reason they have 1 win
  10. True they are definitely playing a juggernaut offense today.
  11. They claimed it was, that was their copout.
  12. In the Bills defense, Tua did a hell of a wabble when he got back to his feet, I did not see that today with Allen did you?
  13. Easily McDermott, but it depends what Pegula truly wants, a coach that is above average typically performs well with a flawed defensive scheme come crunch time, or too keep making the playoffs when never getting over the hump unless they are healthy and they get a few lucky bounces.
  14. It is 3rd and I don't even know 6-8 yards and you have 2 defensive backs 7-8 yards off the receivers, they get a first down. The defensive stops them next three plays and they punt pinning you inside the 5. When as a head coach (defensive head coach) would you ever be aggressive? It's 13 seconds all over again, as a defensive head coach when would you ever be aggressive?
  15. I'd say it's three drops today and poor OL play, but he's not playing great as well!
  16. Seriously, the guy is a rookie four and a half games into his career?
  17. Russell Copeland
  18. So what you're 40 something right? How do you know how much anyone works out a week?
  19. Yeah I know wrestling as well and that's why I stated then Ohio may have been on even ground with them, but they aren't now nobody is. Yeah for sure everyone has an opinion but to say something 100 percent is just arrogant, especially when your talking about a National Champ, ironically enough I think he only took 2nd place in Pa. states.
  20. That's great that you think that, still doesn't make it a fact. Ohio is a very good wrestling state and when he graduated I think the states were comparable, not so much anymore Pa. IMO is the best state evidenced by all the All Americans every year. A national prep Champ means that Penn State would likely recruit a guy like this nowadays. I wrestled in NY state which is not the caliber of Ohio or PA. on the whole, but I was very good as well but trying to he humble.
  21. Comeon, as a former good wrestler a few years older than McDermott if you are being serious I think you're underestimating just how good a wrestler he is.
  22. Don't matter you're not boxing on your back.
  23. Why, what has Trey Lance proven?
  24. He's got great vision, he's a pure running back that knows where to go with the ball. It was the first thing I noticed when watching his highlights, James Cook isn't the most instinctive.
