  1. Miami gave up a 2nd to move into the top 3. I don't see the Julio Jones comparison. Atlanta moved up 20 spots. I'd say Atlanta won the trade. Miami moving up to 3 looks like a flop right now with Jordan being a non-factor.
  2. He's got 458 rushing yards in his career. The last three seasons combined he's had 221 yards. He's a ST guy who if the Bills at some point draft a RB will be fighting for a roster spot.
  3. In the same respect wouldn't that make another offensive player in Jake Matthews overrated? The same thing can be said when guys are labeled system players. A&M had Joeckul taken 2nd last year. Matthews will be a top 10 pick this year. Ogebehui will be a top 10 pick next year. With that said I don't think Matthews is over-valued. I think he's the best OT in the draft and Robinson is over-valued. Still wouldn't touch either in the 1st rd. Then again I wouldn't touch any offensive lineman in the 1st.
  4. That would be a terrible first two rounds. Rather them play it out with Spiller and Jackson. Running backs aren't breaking the bank. Even if they're looking for one wait til later. I'd hate the pick of any offensive lineman in the 1st.
  5. I think hes got at least as much upside as EJ. Tuel and Lewis are fringe NFL players. Glennon would definately be an upgrade over them. At worst he's an equal to EJ right now.
  6. I'd bet the Falcons are happy with the trade moving up for Julio Jones. With that said Falcons traded up 21 spots. They also were set at QB. It'd be a ballsy move, I still wouldn't trade up unless you're one player away from a SB. Or going for a QB.
  7. Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers, Jackson Jeffcoat DE Texas, Deion Belue CB Alabama. The last three drafts run by Nix the Bills have drafted players mostly from BCS Conferences. We'll see how Whaley goes but thus far he's given no indication of what they'll do.
  8. Bills board 1. Clowney 2. Watkins 3. Matthews 4. Robinson 5. Mack 6. Evans 7. Ebron 8. Lewan 9. Clinton-Dix 10. Barr My board for the Bills 1. Manziel 2. Evans 3. Watkins 4. Clowney 5. Bortles 6. Ebron 7. Mack 8. Matthews 9. Clinton-Dix 10. Gilbert
  9. If the Browns take Jake Matthews at 4 for Pettine's sake I hope he's renting not buying a house.
  10. Exactly. His best season most would agree he was underused. The idea of a primary back as was even 10 years ago is gone. Rather than compare him to maybe the greatest RB ever and how he was used; Hackett should study how Westbrook was used in Philly. The Bills have one game breaker on the team and that's Spiller. Where he was drafted is held against him as if it was his fault the Bills took him with Jackson and Lynch. Running backs aren't getting huge 2nd contracts. If Spiller wants to hit free agency he's going to have to have an enormous year. Other than that it'd be in the best interest of him and probably the team to get something done.
  11. Jake Long, Chris Long, Matt Ryan, Clady, Rodgers-Cromartie, Talib, Mayo, McKelvin, Albert, Flacco, Brown, Chris Johnson. All twelve are decent players. Guys like Mike Williams WR, Aaron Curry, Glenn Dorsey, Michael Huff, Robert Gallery were "safe" picks or in some cases listed as BPA by some draft "experts." So draft good players and you're going to have a good team? I'd say draft a good QB and everything else will fall into place. Like the previously mentioned Matt Ryan turning Atlanta around after that team being a disaster.
  12. Knowshon Moreno didn't break the bank nor did Ben Tate. I don't think Spiller will either unless he has an 1800 yard season.
  13. http://deadspin.com/suit-bills-cheerleaders-were-taught-how-to-wash-intim-1566239771 Strange things.
  14. More of Jon Gruden salivating over every player. Hopefully he leaves the booth ASAP.
  15. I recall Robert Gallery, Jason Smith also being can't miss. Gholston was thought of as a risk.
  16. If a guy the Bills want falls and they've gotta move up a couple spots i'd be for it. Just as if the guy they want is expected to be available a few picks down. I wouldn't trade down too far. I look at the Julio Jones trade where Cleveland got Weeden, and then had to trade back up to get the guy they wanted in the 2011 draft in Phil Taylor.
  17. Maybin wasn't even good enough to play special teams. As for what's most important it's taking Mike Evans if he's available.
  18. If the Bills had the best offensive line in the league and E.J. didn't progress they're a 6-10 team. Draft anybody and if Manuel isn't better they won't matter.
  19. Glenn, but it won't matter unless Manuel proves to be a capable QB.
  20. Bringing in competition for the backup QB position shouldn't be a big deal. I'd explore options. I look at what Seattle did a few seasons ago when they signed Flynn, had Jackson, and drafted Wilson. Competition for positions should be a good thing.
  21. Lewan would be the guy I'd hate at 9. I think he'll probably be the pick and won't matter.
  22. I hate the idea of any offensive lineman at 9. If I had to narrow it to one player it'd be Taylor Lewan.
  23. Marshawn Lynch, to go along with topic the pick I hated the most was Donte Whitner.
  24. The young guys who matter for the future of the team won't be playing much. I expect to see Tuel and either a late rd or UDFA playing most of the HOF game. The 3rd preseason game or what will be the 4th for the Bills is generally the only one where starters play a decent amount of time.
