  1. Joekel was moved to LT after they dumped Monroe. Chances are Albert leaves KC so Fisher will move to LT. Peters was coming off a ruptured achilles.
  2. He also lost Vincent Jackson and they failed to replace him. They replaced him this year with a viable option in Allen. Also brought in Woodhead. Antonio Gates also had a much better year this year than last. If they want E.J. to be their guy i'd draft Mike Evans or Ebron. If they want an easy way out draft an offensive lineman.
  3. So they can have a crappy WR but not a crappy RT. This isn't 1950's football. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9114874/st-louis-rams-lt-jake-long-path-proves-demise-left-tackle-espn-magazine
  4. I don't think many would've missed T.J. Graham if he were cut. Many sacks I blame on the QB. Six of the top seven teams in most sacks allowed were teams with unsettled QB positions. The team with fewest sacks allowed have the smartest QB in the league.
  5. I'd say their QB elevated the rushing statistics. They also graded out as below average offensive line.
  6. The Bills had 2 more runs of 40+ but the 9ers had 9 more runs of 20+ yards.
  7. They averaged around 2 more carries per game than the 49ers who most consider to have an elite line. SF averaged .2 more ypc. Their top running back from the previous year was hurt. Also the QB play was not helping the situation.
  8. Except Denver's offensive line was better than Seattle's http://www.footballo...rs.com/stats/ol
  9. Also took Crabtree and Davis at the top of the draft.
  10. Goodwin is listed at 5'9 and Graham shouldn't be in the NFL. Watkins is fast like both of them but other than that I don't get saying they're the same type players.
  11. T.J. Graham was on the field for 70% of the snaps. WR,TE, QB.
  12. Owens was washed up. Marv tried building a line and failed miserably. The Bills have drafted Mike Williams and Eric Wood in the first rd and it hasn't resulted in a playoff game. They took Evans and it didn't result in a playoff game. The Bills have drafter rb's in the first rd, wr not so much. They've taken horrible players at wr after the first in Graham and Hardy. Same with some offensive lineman. If the Bills had a good gm they'd draft a QB til they get one. Unfortunately teams don't do that.
  13. Rivers, Brady, Rodgers. Denver lost one of the best offensive tackles in the league and didn't miss him. Bulaga was on IR and Sherrod just was getting back from injury for GB.
  14. Just speculating but why would STL take Clowney with Quinn, Long, Brockers? I think they'll take Matthews or go Watkins. Also I wouldn't rule out QB. If Clowney starts to slip past top 5 I think a trade similar to Atlanta moving up to get Julio Jones will happen. Cleveland a team with a ton of holes beat the Bills. Draft picks are over-valued. If the Bills had a front office that fans could trust i'd rather them get "their guy."
  15. Stats say SF line is below average, http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol . New England has a good line.
  16. This ones a little more dated but same idea http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--left-tackle-in-the-nfl-is-gradually-become-a-less-valued-position.html
  17. It's not 1990's or even early 2000 football. Offensive line doesn't matter nearly as much as people make it out. One exception is QB where teams seemed locked into one guy regardless of his success/failure.
  18. http://mmqb.si.com/2013/10/30/nfl-offensive-tackles-rethinking-the-blind-side-and-position-value/ Taking an offensive lineman early in the draft is a waste of a pick.
  19. Wilson had a three way competition, Cincy had Palmer who quit on the team, Kaepernick took his team to the SB, Roethlisberger got the job from a guy who lead the team to like a 14-2 record, Newton was taken by a team that took a QB in the 2nd rd, Rivers sat behind Brees, Eli got the job from Kurt Warner. Ryan took over a team in as bad of shape as any team in the league. Smith, Cutler, Stafford. Luck was considered a prodigy and can't miss prospect. Tannehill i'd say had the same sort of competition as Manuel.
  20. They were 9-2 with him starting. He came close to setting an NFL QBR rating. Without their number 2 WR, with a rookie head coach. Can the guy get some credit? He's miles ahead of Manuel right now. The difference between him and a guy who has started in the league in Michael Vick were huge. The difference between Manuel and a guy who has been on practice squads were minimal. If the Eagles are willing to bring in "competition," for Foles and Marrone won't for E.J. I think we're in for the "same old Bills."
  21. Stafford makes tight throws? He's the player who can make the most impact in the draft. He won't be there when the Bills pick, unfortunately.
