In all seriousness...I wish the guy and his family the best...draft days certainly were exciting even if the moves didn't always turn out the way he wanted. If you think about it--Ralph gave him a level of responsibility he never had before--running the whole franchise..he messed up two coaching searches..and took almost too many personnel risks...we all wish it would have worked out better.

Did you think about title, position, job description when that best friend asked for your help? I have little doubt that Ralph is seeking Marv's advice right now and has asked him for his input and to consider taking this franchise back under his wing in some way. I think focusing on Marv's previous comments regarding his desire to coach again or not wanting to be a consultant or front office lug is probably not applicable to where this situation will end up. Whatever happens here will be because of his relationship with his friend Ralph Wilson...

The real question I am struggling with here is whether this coaching staff is worth salvaging....that really determines whether you keep MM or not.. So Offense... Clements Studesville McNally Wyche Miller Tolbert Verducci On D Gray Blackmon Krumrie Szabo Lester Special Teams April Who has developed talent on this list--who's unit has improved? Is there a core of assistants here that make it worth retaining Mularkey...April, Krumrie, McNally, Wyche, Blackmon--are they enough to keep this staff intact and just replace the coordinators or promote from within....I really don't see a downside in blowing the whole thing up and starting over...
