  1. So @Ice bowl 67, how tough is it going to be for a Bills fan to get a ticket to next year's Bills/Pack game at Lambeau? There is no way that is not my road game next season, I don't care what else is going on...
  2. Knew I'd miss one...
  3. Jim Kelly - DUH! Actually that's Guffalo's daughter, Michaela Rae
  4. My sister is going to the game but doesn't even get into Long Beach until 11AM. I keep sending her tailgate info though.

  8. Fran Drescher Ice cubes coming out of a tray
  9. The jerky on Sunday was very good.
  10. I'm not commenting whether or not I think it was the right move. (I'm OK with it, BTW) I'm just asking if there's an actual reason that we announced it to the world on Wednesday rather than keeping the Chargers guessing.
  11. Is there some NFL rule that states you have to announce your starting QB before the game?
  12. From the show I went to last Friday - I was maybe 6 seats to the right of the person who shot this:

  17. He did change the "meet & greet" from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon. Apparently there will be some kind of caravan meet-up on Sunday morning so that we can all drive to the lot together and get a community space going. If their website is to be believed, the lots may open at 7AM for a noon game (local time). http://www.chiefs.com/parking/index.html
  18. My favorite growing up in the 70s was DiRose, on Kenmore Ave near Colvin. Sadly it closed up.
  19. We were parked very close to that RV. A couple of the Jills were in there too...
  20. Teams eventually figure out how to combat everything - that's why you have to adapt, change, and "be multiple". If you do one thing and expect that it's always going to work, you will be unemployed soon. Rex basically admitted that teams had "caught up" to his defense the week before he was canned.
  21. Never personally had a bad experience travelling to away games (other than the outcomes of most of the games). I've seen many fights, but the closest I ever got to being in a fight was on the concourse at halftime of the playoff game in Pittsburgh the week after The Comeback. I always wear my Bills colors, but am always respectful and try to establish mutual respect with surrounding fans early in the process. I root for my team but not obnoxiously and don't overdo it when something bad happens for the home team. In Chicago, a car with Bills stickers on it had a garbage can overturned on the hood - that sucked. Notable highlight: After the overtime loss in Baltimore I had a girl run up and hug me after the game saying it was hug a Bills fan day.
  22. Things I've personally been involved in: First game in November 1970 at the Rockpile Being on the Buffalo News "picture page" in my Bills uniform 1970 Being at the first game at Rich Stadium Waiting in line for hours to meet OJ at a Radio Shack in 1973 Come-back win over the Raiders on MNF - 1974 Jim Kelly's first game in 1986 First away game - Bills/Browns Playoff game 1990 (birth of the K-Gun) Win over Miami to clinch division 1990 Playoff win over Miami 1990 51-3 Super Bowl XXV National Anthem still gives me goosebumps That final drive, the anticipation of the last kick Walking into our hotel lobby the night before SB XXVI to find the team checking in - ours was the 'secret hotel' The Comeback Celebrating signings of Chris Spielman & Takeo Spikes Being at the "snow game" vs Miami with my 6 year old son and having him refuse to leave early 18 years of TBDAHOTs HOF Inductions - JK, Thurman, Bruce & Ralph, Andre Memorable road trips (New Orleans being tops)
