  1. We had 6 outta 10 make the playoffs, it was double elimination. We lost our first game but then ran the elimination bracket to the final game only to lose 7-0. Just couldn't hit their pitcher. Our only loss this year was to that team, which has been mediocre otherwise and is 4-3.
  2. I was speaking specifically about that game. And they played well against Denver the next week too. Then came the Redskins...
  3. That's the one. Norwood did the tomohawk chop on 'em. Bill Walsh must've had a sore neck after fellating Cornelius for 3 hours...
  4. The Mastodons (large, slow-moving, extinct - much like the players) are 6-1 tied for first, and we were supposed to play the teams in 2nd and 3rd in a double-header last night - rain killed that schedule tho. Last year we won our league championship but lost in the the overall championship game. My stats are fair this year. I'm a singles hitter, batting about .500 I guess. I've had 2 put-outs at the plate. Sadly we haven't had many spectators this year. We always head over to The Coach in Webster after games.
  5. Even that defense was awesome. Bennett was all over the field, we had 4 or 5 picks. Lots of heat from the front 7 even with a severly hobbled Bruce Smith barely able to push off a bad knee. KC's coordinators in the game: Defense - Bill Cowher Offense - Joe Pendry The passion of the fans... Man I miss that. Thurman could do it all. Good times
  6. Because Jerry Jones is a very powerful owner and he didn't want to lose his traditional rivalries when they shuffled the divisions.
  7. Wasn't TO already in the NFC East???
  8. Yeah, I think H2o is the president.

  10. I remember a 10-5 loss to the 3-10 Tampa Bay Bucs in week 14 (we were 11-2 I believe) which eventually cost the Bills home-field advantage in 1988. But the worst was this one: Sunday Dec 7 1975 Bills at dolphins Bills go down 21-0 but close gap to 24-21. Late in 4th, Miami runner fumbles at fish 43 yd line. Bills DE Pat Toomay goes for the ball. Refs blow play dead and flag Toomay for bumping into referee. Don Nottingham runs 56 yards to the 1 on the next play, then Norm Bulaich scores on the next play to knock the Bills out of the playoffs and continue the Bills 0 fer the 70s against the fish. Ralph Wilson looses it post-game and is heavily fined for criticizing the refs.
