I caught the beginning of the Philly/Cleveland game on NFL Network, and he apparently does the Eagles preseason play-by-play too. Not sure how that works out.

Tickets were only distributed at 3 Verizon stores in Rochester a couple of weeks back. I had several extra and posted about it, but they have all been claimed.

You could say this about the entire team, and progression is what I'm hoping for this year in all areas including behind the bench and upstairs.

I did meet Mark & LancasterSteve out after practice and, of course, we drank a lot of beer.

I got this 2nd hand from Mark VI but he said that Holcomb's first pass was a awful floater that was picked by Jabari Greer and taken to the house. Apparently Fairchild gave him the hook right then and there and JP got almost every snap for the rest of the night. I only saw the last 45 minutes but the offense seemed to be doing well in 11 on 11. Josh Reed had one TD catch from about 20 yds out. Ryan Denney did have JP lined up but he curled off on on play. Gates and Parrish sat out. Nall only threw in 7 on 7. Justin Geisinger was gingerly walked to the dressing room before practice ended. And it was wet.

I'm thinkin' I have to go see that.

That was my first thought too.

Apparently less so this year. I was impressed with his ability to sidestep the pressure but stay in the pocket against Carolina. He wasn't looking to run if his first read wasn't there. However, on one occasion he stepped up past 3 rushers but then waited too long to get rid of the ball and they came back from behind on him. That timing will come with reps.

Actually, Nicolas Setta kind of impressed me. His kickoffs were deep and his punting didn't suck either.

Actually he and Schneck share number 54. They did that with several numbers last night - Ricard and Rob Lee both wore 39. There are also 2 #72s. I was surprised they could do that in a game - it caused quite a bit of confusion. I didn't read the whole thread so if someone already pointed this out... sorry.

Do we know if they're using the Carolina or Buffalo feed?
