  1. Yeah... well... Could we have snuck Biron out there somehow?
  2. Leonard Smith got an infection from a pain killer injection in the days before SB XXVI and couldn't play IIRC. I don't think he ever played another game.
  3. Dammit Why didn't they go into a defensive shell?!?!?
  4. Whatever they do, PLEASE DON'T GO INTO A DEFENSIVE SHELL IN THE 3RD!!!
  5. Swear to God I was just thinking that Hecht hasn't done much and is due! WOOHOO!!

  7. Ritcher wasn't even the best player on his line.
  8. As I pulled together the tickets for mailing this afternoon, I found that the tickets I was sent were not quite the tickets I was told I'd be getting. Close, but a small difference. I was told: Row 21 1-30 Row 22 1-30 Row 23 1-30 Row 24 1-28 Row 25 1-25 What I got was: Row 21 1-30 Row 22 1-30 Row 23 1-30 Row 24 1-30 Row 25 9-31 This made me do a new seating chart. I tried to minimize the moves, but there had to be some. Row 25 has an extra seat in it squeezed in there somewhere, so it's not as clear cut as it appears.
  9. It's gorgeous out, people have lined the street, families enjoying the morning. Veterans have gone by to thunderous applause. Followed by our local politicians (to not so thunderous applause). More applause for the volunteer fire and ambulance corps. A band or 2. Our transportation department (ie a snow plow). Then come the boy and girl scouts. One of the boy scouts comes up and hands our kids each a small plastic American Flag. "How cool!" I thought. My son handed his to me. I unrolled it. What's this small note on it say? "Made in China"
  10. Tori Amos did a piano-only version a few years back where you could understand the lyrics, too.

  12. You stayin' the whole time?? I still have bad dreams of my days cooking there, but I could head that way instead...
  13. I'm thinking Tully's... I'll be in my #37 Curtis Brown black jersey, probably at the bar. Might not be there right at faceoff but should be there by 8ish.
  14. They're pretty! It will probably be Tuesday before I get to the post office to get them mailed out to those that opted for delivery.
  15. http://www.billsdigestonline.com/ This edition was sent out to all season ticket holders.
  16. I'll take 6 more of 'em.
  17. To answer a few questions: A week. We didn't get that far south, but we were told that it actually tastes like urine I guess the locals find it amusing... My sister-in-law came and stayed at our place with the kids. Melissa won this trip from Xerox. Not really, they're just EVERYWHERE! A few more and it would have looked like Indiana. Kinda, but they call them "Traditional Irish Breakfast" Stay away from the "black pudding" which is actually a blood sausage. The pics with P101xxxx are from my digital camera - an Olympus C4000Z. The ones with 000_00 are from my wife's point-and-shoot film camera. I didn't think they developed very well - kinda colorless and grainy. There was a bit of that, but what was really weird (in a good way) was the huge groups of girls out pub-crawling wearing matching outfits (hats, vests, devil horns etc). We thought they might be bachelorette parties, but didn't see any bachelor parties out and about. That whole Temple Bar area gets NUTS!
