  1. I just drove by that rest stop the other day...
  2. Great - I just installed the update to 11.4.something
  3. Wonder if he can go on PUP like Caussin did to give more time for his knee to heal up and not count against the roster til week 6. If not, I'm sad to agree that he's not in the final 53.
  4. WTF am I gonna do with my Vince Young jersey now???
  5. Every practice I saw, Hagen looked very good in, even with the first team. He also looked good in the game against us when he was with the Raiders, and again for us when Stevie was benched against the pats*. At 6'2", 210 he's a big strong target.
  6. Oh I've already got him making the team.
  7. I've got Stevie, Donald Jones, David Nelson, TJ Graham, and Derek Hagan making the team. Kamar Aiken, Derek Session, and David Clowney as early cuts. Don't know what to call Brad Smith. For that final WR spot I think these 3 are the ones with a shot, and Easley's shot is pretty outside. Personally, I much prefer Roosevelt as a WR. He gets open and catches the ball. Ruvell Martin is a liability on the offense, and I wonder why Fitz EVER targets him. However, I believe they look at Martin as more of a special teams guy. I gotta admit, he's not bad as a gunner. I still like the *idea* of Easley's tangibles, but with injuries the past 2 years and an inconsistent pre-season thus far I'm not sure he's done enough to make the squad. Overall I hope Roosevelt hangs on but if I were to bet I'd say they keep Martin. I was hopeful when Roosevelt was fielding punts in preseason game 1, but then I saw TJ Graham make people miss in game 2 and he's gotta be the guy there.
  8. gets bitten by a cobra, so he chases it down and bites it back
  9. Apparently we're not the first to bring this up
  10. Ben Davidson might have it beat
  11. Apparently it was something they also did together but he was away this time.
  12. 100% agree with this.
  13. So you're saying pitchers don't need to pitch during preseason in baseball? Basketball players don't even need preseason because all they do is shoot baskets? Golfers don't need practice either? I think there's an art to tackling. Being able to hit a moving target, to anticipate where that target will be when you try to hit it - all that needs work.
  14. I feel bad for defensive players, I really do. Already at a disadvantage with most of the recent rule changes, the new CBA has also: 1) Removed 2-a-days from training camp 2) Reduced the number of days for training camp 3) Reduced the number of days in a row teams can practice 4) Reduced the number of padded practices teams can have 5) Reduced the amount of live-hitting in practices Just how are defenders supposed to work on the fundamentals of their craft, namely tackling, when they can barely do it until the season starts? They can work on "fits" at half-speed all they want, but being in the right place at the right time is only half the battle. Perhaps the #1 defense should work against the #3 offense and be allowed to tackle them.
  15. maybe he's dyslexic. Or he was intoxicated. That's possible too.
  16. So myself, LewPort, and Marcellosaurus. If my son plays that's 1 foursome. Who else?
  17. Birth control pills and a vibrator - not a "little" girl's room apparently.
  18. about travelling with the team - a very interesting look at what most people don't get to see. Mike goes to my wife's church. I sat next to him one time on a flight going to an away game - to San Antonio I think after Katrina moved the Saints game. It's not tough to identify me as a Bills fan and we had a great discussion. He's actually from Philly and is more of an Eagles fan.
  19. I knew it looked familiar! Things are expensive. We ended up staying at the Comfort Suites which is right next to Atlantis and has full privileges. We brought a rolling cooler, and made lunches to bring over to the water park/beaches. The kids meals are pretty reasonable. There's a man-made cove you can snorkel in which has ocean access and we saw turtles and some other cool fishies in there. We did a different dolphin encounter which was pretty cool. There's a ferry which goes from near Atlantis (short walk to pier under the bridge) to the cruise ship terminal in Nassau if you wanna do some shopping. Note that the lazy river at Atlantis is not all that lazy, and the sides are pretty rough so be careful. Daughter enjoyed getting her hair braided on the beach. Warning - we had our credit card skimmed somewhere (we think at the Hard Rock). Use cash as much as possible.
  20. I was gonna post a youtube of John Valby Gangbang, but it's just way too NSFW.
  21. You just don't want a repeat of the butt-whuppin you got last year.
  22. If Norwood makes that kick is he in this conversation?
