Im not even sure how you pull a full tank in the NFL. The Browns tank really has been a multi year process brought on by a few seasons of the combination of bad decisions and bad luck. I highly doubt our roster is bad enough for a full on tank. It just dosent seem realistic. It dosent seem possible or a good idea. Plus, after the messy Sabres tank, i cant see how the Pegulas would have the stomach for a Bills tank. Were better off trading away our draft for the first or second overall, that to think we can be bad enough to go 2-14, or 3-13.

Gilmore has always been a guy who starts the season slow then gets better as the season goes along. Its hard to pay him all that money with so many needs at other positions, but losing him is gonna suck under the teams current structure. With no real solid talent behind him. Hopefully its not Darby roast 2017, this year.

Gilmore might not be a HOF player, but is Richard Sherman? He might be, someday. The fact is, though, is that losing Gilmore is going to leave a huge hole in our secondary. Whaley really needs to do a better job of replenishing talent back there in the mid to late rounds of the draft. Good players ARE to be had. Our GM just needs to find them. And we shouldnt be blowing high picks on DB's, not this year, at least.

In the last five years of our drafts, i see very few standout players having been drafted by the Bills. It would be nice to see Whaley nail it on a couple of the mid to later round players, thats how the good teams get better. But unfortunately he just hasnt. What players has Whaley really nailed it on? Preston Brown? I guess you could put Bradham in there. Otherwise, all these guys hes drafted are really just non contributors. Sorry, Whales, sad but true.
