I dont have veryhigh hopes for the Bills or the Sabres anytime in the near future, but the negativity surrounding our teams is really starting to be a real drag.

Ive seen a few people reference the 2014 defensive roster in defense of Whaley, in this thread and the Gillislee thread, but i want to remind everyone that Whaley did not build that roster. Nix did. Whaley has been quite average. Not the worst, but not the best. As far as a comparison to Polian and his record, Polian was a complete animal when he was here, he took control of everything. It was Polians team through and through, even fighting over it with an immensely strong willed and meddling owner in Ralph. Polian took control. Whaley is a flippity floppity flue of a GM that by most accounts, hasnt even had the nut sack to hire his own coach yet. Yes, Whaley is a professional football talent evaluator, he can see and pick some individual talent and has hit on a couple players. I just dont think he is savvy enough, at this point, to build a complete football team. Im not a fan of Whaley as the GM of our beloved Buffalo Bills.

Honestly, we were 7-9 last year with Gilleslee on the team. Yeah he showed a few flashes, but at what point is it the system and not the player. Do the Pats win the Superbowl next year WITH Gillislee on the team? Is Gillislee THE REASON they win? Probably not. I dont understand the tear in the beer for Gillislee. Its not losing him thats holding this team down. Its the entire organizational structure. Gillislee is replaceable, to us.

Like many of the drafts from past years, i feel like ONE of these QB's from this class is bound to be a good solid player. Our Bills need to hit on it one of these years, why not this year?

I would love to see the Bills aggressively pursue a guy who could be a real good QB. Trubisky is probably going to go real early in the draft and if we moved up to pick him id be really happy.

Isnt Howard in his late 70's or something?
