  1. Ya I agree. Taron in my opinion is a very good player, but isn't elite. I was just trying to bring a little objectivity to it as he did get voted 2nd team all pro, so by the rule I made, had to technically say he was "elite"
  2. Ya when you really break it down kinda like I did , it's crazy how much Josh carries this team.
  3. So far this is going better than I thought, thought I would be getting a bit of disagreement haha
  4. Comparing to the chiefs and 49ers the 2 SB teams, here's how I'm going to categorize as elite: -Made 1st team/2nd all pro last year -Top 3/4 at position. (For example, Josh and Mahomes are elite even though they didn't get voted all pros) So for the bills I got 3 players but technically only 2 last year cause the Milano injury. -Josh, Milano, Taron. Chiefs: 7 players -Mahomes, Kelce, thuney, humphries, C Jones, Mcduffie, Sneed 49ers: Hufanga got hurt so technically 7 players -Mccafery, Aiyuk, T Williams, Kittle, Bosa, Warner, Hufanga, Chardavious Ward (I didn't include their fullback) So in the playoffs if you factor in injuries, bills had 2 "elite" players based on the all pro selection/my opinion. Chiefs 7 And 49ers 7 with the Hufanga injury. While the bills have a lot of good to very good players, I really think they are missing some game breakers on this team. What do you guys think?
  5. I know, but they probably still will be able to. its like Von miller- bills can get out of his deal after this season and save a few million even though they re structured after year 1. He also signed a "5 year" contract, but it really was 3 years
  6. Let's say they don't re structure, and they cut Knox after this year. Do you know what the savings would be?
  7. I wonder if this means Patriots are commiting to Daniels or Maye as their first pick
  8. Yep. And Schultz 3 years 36. (He's way more dynamic than Knox) Re structuring average players who are already overpaid is how you get in trouble with the cap, so I hope the bills don't re structure as well
  9. I hope the bills don't re structure Knox. i believe there's an out after next year, and I would rather cut ties with his contract opposed to committing to it longer Whether you're a Knox fan or not, Objectively it's a bad contract, so why would you marry yourself to it
  10. Yep. It seems like a very similar type of contract Von miller got. (Except more money of course) Where it's gonna say 5 years. But it's really a 3 year deal that has a good chance to re structure after year 1
  11. Interesting , cause when I first listened I actually thought it was conservative. You are absolutely right though that it's aggressive in clearing cap space and making moves. But I think it's conservative in the fact that he didn't really go after any double digit million guys (per year) , and choose to spread the money out to a bunch of "middling " to "low end" guys. I guess it depends how you look at it💪
  12. Ya Probably on paper so the agent can fluff up the numbers a bit. But with the 95 mil Guaranteed, it's probably something like a 3 year, 95 mil dollar deal
  13. 95 guaranteed over "5 years." Probably means it's looking like a 3 year, 32.5 mil per year roughly
  14. He was a top 5 corner for sure in his prime. Probably even top 3 If you are an all pro player, you are elite at your position for that season
  15. But wouldn't that fall under "void year's " technically though?
  16. It had to be done I think, but this sucks. Love Tre
  17. Why? I wonder if this has to do more with tyler bass being comfortable with him as the holder. Cause I don't get this, unless it's just for camp reps
  18. Yep. Possibly extensions with Dawkins/Taron as well which would save another 12 mil
  19. Ahh ok thanks. I didn't know you could do that with only one year left on the deal
  20. Re structure in the last year of his deal? Would this mean void years added on potentially?
  21. This is probably a pretty good comp you made with frazier/tua
  22. Can cut Harty as well and save around 4.5-5. (Not sure of the exact number)
  23. Ya I think between 45-50. 48 would be my guess
  24. Hes good, but not a great QB. He needs a lot of talent around him for him to be successful. Problem for him/miami is when he signs this big contract, he's simply not going to have the talent around him as he has the last couple seasons
  25. Technically yes, but a 10 mil hard cap hit isn't ideal at all. It's in both parties best interest to come to an extension. 1. Douglas gets security 2. Bills clear much needed cap space But if Douglas is being unreasonable, it puts Beane in a tough spot for this years cap and future years
