  1. I see where you are coming from, but I am hoping for the opposite. I hope 6 QBs go before the bills pick so there is better value at other positions. Realistically as well, I think it is extremely unlikely BB will trade down in the 1st History has shown he will move up if anything
  2. I don't think so either, there was miscommunication between the OP and I
  3. Ahh ok that's completely different then a true "restructure " which I was referring too
  4. Are you referring to a pay cut opposed to a restructure into a signing bonus?
  5. Crazy. If what you said is true (which I'm sure it is) , that just shows he wants out. Cause who would turn down cash up front with more security in his contract
  6. Diggs actually said he's not going to restructure for cap space?
  7. I think it has to do more with his contract than him as a player. (In my opinion) Teams don't want to give up high draft picks and pay a corner 20 plus million. I think even the dolphins only had to give Up like a 6th round pick for Ramsey or something last year?
  8. Might be a hot take but dareus for a few years. I get once he got paid he turned lazy and was bad, but he was dominant for a couple seasons
  9. I would guess a few reasons: 1 . Probably didn't want to take a pay cut or the bills simply didn't offer him a contract 2. His girlfriend (or wife) wants to be in Miami and he's got a house in Ft lauderdale 3. no state tax in Miami
  10. You got Oliver and Daquon for the next 2 years at DT though. i get the bills rotate a lot, but a first round pick on a rotational Dt who wouldn't even start is not appealing in my personal opinion lol
  11. 3.2 for a team that needs a good backup, I agree it's affordable. But anything over 2.5 is a bit expensive for the bills IMO, especially considering they are tight against cap and Josh is the most durable QB in the league Rumours are they could have gotten more from other teams, but they did right to fields by sending him to a place he can compete for a starting job. I would guess it would have cost the bills a 4th to get him
  12. fair points, but do you think it would be worth the investment to trade assets for most likely a one year rental who is pretty expensive for a backup QB? (In a tight capped team)
  13. Why do you think the bills would be interested out of curiosity? He would be a fairly expensive backup, and his 5th year option would kick in the following year. So would basically be a 1 year rental as an expensive back up
  14. You're definitely right that Samuel would get paid more than Shakir as of now. And I am definitely happy they added Samuel to the room as he's a good player. But hmm if someone told me I can only have one receiver for 2024, Samuel or Shakir.. I think I would have to say Shakir as I love the trajectory the kid is on. Glad we don't have to pick though as it's awesome to have both of them
  15. While he was disappointing, I think our expectations were in the wrong place with Sherfield. Last year he was playing "up to 1.7" mil or something like that. He was basically signed to be a special teams player/run blocker/WR 5 , so if we thought he was gonna be a difference maker on offence, I think we were being naive
  16. I almost wish the bills just re structured the full amount for Josh and just would have bit the bullet with Knox's contract this year so they can get out of this deal after this season. anyone know the post June cap savings if bills cut Knox next year?
  17. Agreed. He had one descent year when he caught a bunch of TDs in 2021 but that's it. How that warrants a 14 mil per year is beyond me
  18. Probably not- Allen i believe a year older, but diggs makes more money. Allen more injury prone mind you. I would guess a very similar compensation
  19. Problem for the Vikings is I don't think they get into the top 3. And if they miss out on the top 3 QBs, is it really worth trading a bunch of picks to get someone like McCarthy?
  20. I'm not a Gabe fan but he's got a point. Gabe had a lot of 50/50 contested deep balls where Samuel got more screens/short passes so of course Samuel's catch percentage will be better. Now in saying that, I still prefer Samuel as I like his skill set more than gabes
  21. Now draft one in the 1st or 2nd round (hopefully 1st) and should be set for receiver
  22. Yep! Can even say the same about James Cook
  23. Agreed. And they are already paying Oliver and jones pretty well Hard to imagine they pay good money to 3 DTs in a tight cap situation
