I get what they are saying. a 7-9 team is average, a 5-11 team is bad. Mostly they are saying that when the line is set at a whole number, you either have to choose a whole win above or below, where as with half wins on the line you only have to bet half a win on each side. In a 16-game season, that makes a difference with bets.

Chiming in and agreed with both of you. Decent start, but against 2's and 3's you gotta look better than that. I think the mental aspect of Watson's game is strong, but the NFL will figure out your weaknesses and exploit them. Carson Wentz checked at the line all the way to 7-9. Granted, the Houston defense is better. I look at Dak's debut last year and he was playing 1's and 2's and looked better than Watson did last night.

Think so too. He didn't light it up but was put in a bad spot having to step into a top 3 role at times last season. I guess ideally you'd want them to succeed when given the chance but I didn't think he was awful.
