  1. If KB plays tonight, he plays in 17 regular season games right? I think it's fine he sits. Get him ready for the second half run and playoffs!
  2. Yeah, but you still put a lot of force on the joints when you plant and cut with their body mass. Might also just be gradual wear until it eventual just gives.
  3. I don't think our knees have evolved to withstand the force that pro athletes put on those ligaments.
  4. If we are playing the odds, they're heavily against us. Better to win these easy ones than have to worry about winning those ones later. 9-7 could get you in, actually. Lots of teams beating each other up and some teams previously considered contenders are spiraling. Still wanna see this team put up 10+
  5. That's pretty funny.
  6. I would say the game was never really that close. We should have had a TD on that first drive and a FG on a flukey miss by Hausch money. Both teams have outperformed expectations, but are trending in opposite directions over the past few weeks. Jets aren't closing out games and we are, etc. That being said, they are still playing tough and no game is ever a gimme. If we lose it would be a disappointment, but not one that indicates we aren't ready for playoffs on its own.
  7. I was just about to express the same thing. The way they had the camera angle pointing at his temples while he still looked forward, with images popping up next to his head kind of reminded me of awkward family photos i.e:
  8. Yup. Can't wait to hear him talk Bills.
  9. I'd like to see a Steelers-esque team celebration where in Shady uses the football as a telephone and all the players surround him and then they open up to Shady in a Superman costume. Obviously that's not possible but it would be funny if someone got him a cape at least.
  10. Well, with that Benjamin trade the supposed idea was to afford more opportunities for McCaffrey. Every start/sit article I've read this week recommends starting him and with McKinnon on a bye you probably have to flex him anyway. See how he does this week, but if it's not a breakout I would keep playing McKinnon over McCaffrey. Everything about the Vikings offense is more exciting than the Panthers right now, surprisingly. Speaking of Vikings, I just traded TT to a QB desperate team for Stefon Diggs. Wow.
  11. No way. Show some sock boiii.
  12. I get the argument, but in football there are more variables and more players performing more specialized tasks every single play.
  13. Football is unparalleled in terms of the strategy and physicality. So I agree to that end. However, I do like playoff baseball and this WS has been spectacular.
  14. 1. Davis has been playing about as well as you want your 3rd or 4th DE to be playing. Not a ton of splash plays - although the strip sack on Winston was awesome - but he contributes to the depth and I don't see where we improve our backup DE in the case we release him. 2. It's not a matter of who is better than who. Holmes has played well and should continue to play well, and we have him on the cheap for two more years. Look at how many pass catchers the Patriots and Steelers have. 3. You would rather watch our offense suffer then. Ducasse has been playing better than Miller, much to all of our chagrin, and he needs to stay in there now so the line can gel moving forward. 4. Fullbacks are unsung heroes and ours might be the best in the game right now. Tolbert playing pure fullback would be a downgrade there and because he is the backup to Shady I'm sure they don't want him out there laying blocks in between carries. Losing your quality depth for one third round player doesn't make sense when your team is winning now and your depth players are on multi-year deals. However, if Beane chooses to go that route, I'll hear him out and expect the team to continue to play well.
  15. I was reading through a twitter thread where in someone claiming to know somebody who knows somebody said we were definitely shopping Glenn. Obviously needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but if that was the case, I feel that we knew Glenn was good at a crucial position lacking depth league wide, and thus could fetch a high price. And if they were shopping Glenn, I credit the FO in not lowering their price just to move the guy.
  16. Davis has been a useful rotational edge rusher, Holmes has made better plays than Zay and JMatt so far, and Ducasse is now our starting RG. DiMarco is playing well too. just don't see it.
  17. We have depth now and we are winning. No way.
  18. On like a mofo!
  19. For sure. I intended this thread to be more about who we think takes him and those implications.
  20. All teams in our division need a QB in some capacity. Wondering any will take a stab?
  21. Can't find a link to it outside of Bleacher Report but I saw that Kap's lawyer tweeted that he expects the QB to be signed within 10 days. What do we all think about this?
  22. Too bad even the picks we received look like they will be lower in each round.
  23. As soon as they announced Cutler was coming to QB the team's ceiling dropped to 8-8. At this point we have more of a chance to split with the Jets.
