It would have made some sense to have one conference early and one late.

I can see it, but I am more in on the Bengals getting it done, although losing Vontaze for this game is a bummer.

The worst part about the whole thing is that we almost watched Ryan Fitzpatrick take the Jets to the playoffs. Almost, thankfully.

I think more Derrick Henry is bad for us, actually. DeMarco has not been that good this year.

Honestly the Browns roster isn't all that bad. Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman, Isaiah Crowell, Duke Johnson and Njoku would not be a bad group of weapons for a QB to inherit. Pretty good OL (assuming Joe Thomas keeps playing), Myles Garrett, Jaime Collins... If they manage to get the right QB for once, they will make a pretty big jump. Maybe not playoff ready, but kind of like our teams over the past few years.

Teams with a loaded roster outside of QB could look at Tyrod. Jaguars or Broncos likely options. Wouldn't fetch much but he is a guy a team can with with when the defense is sturdy and receivers can separate. I know everyone is quick to dismiss him because he isn't able to single-handedly win games for us, but he is an NFL talent. If our defense in 2015 was anywhere near the 2014 team Rex inherited we would have been a playoff team for sure.

It is. They just beat a playoff contending Lions team (who the Ravens did crush as well, I'll grant). I wanna see them rise to the occasion and knock their rival out of the playoffs.
