he's had injuries, specifically to his back if I recall correctly. Shame too. He is one of the few really good guys in the NFL. Also was one of the smartest people in the league. Just never reached his full potential. One real good year with San Diego.

I just sent the Star link about bledsoe to my Cowboy co-worker. It was titled: He's your problem now this is fun!!! Actually, I think Drew may do slightly better there than he did for us.............for about the 1st 8 games!!! (sound familiar??)

Brandon's right. But the interviews sucked too. they were of NFL front office guys who said basically nothing. so why interview them? They had this Mike Mayock guy on and he really didn't come off too well. He is like NFL Network's Mel Kiper Jr. Or that's what they want him to be. I would want to see the combine events themselves. Kinda like a competition. Instead, they'd talk about a specific lineman that stood out the day before, and they would show him doing an agility drill. Just cheap footage like that. They did show Jim McNally arriving to his seat with a bunch of donuts and coffee though. That was a real treat.................NOT

i hope it's better this year. they had it last year and it SUCKED.

i'd like to see us get that big back in the 6th. as far as Freddie Jones goes, he's been a dissapointment here in the Valley. A reputed slacker since coming over from SD. And the Cards are loaded with underachievers, so to get that rep out here is pretty sad. Maybe he's still be an upgrade or a pushing force in camp, but a lazy TE scares me ESPECIALLY in the run game.

haven't seen the playoffs since Flutie either. but I'm with you, you need to have JP do just enough. I'm not saying "play not to lose", I'm saying play within himslef as a 1st year starter. There's a huge difference. I still feel that NE still calls O-game plans for Brady to be able to play within his means. And he grows. You can see him go long more often as the years go by, since his 1st year as starter. (sorry to Patsify, but they are the measuring stick for us right now, like it or not). so I'd like to see them get another back, a BIG EFFECTIVE BACK to preserve Willis and give a change up every once in a while. A solid short ydg guy and I feel we can become the Power Run O, or at least give teams that impression. This will really help JPL out allot and the whole O will benefit.

Turley's injury worries me

My post is intentionally exaggerated (no I don't read too much into what an athlete says to a radio station). Of coarse he's playing it cool. I posted this in response to all the earlier posts that included how "classy" Bledsoe was in the media (bfd!) and to those who posted about JPL being a "loud mouth", that he should "keep quiet for a while", etc. don't read too much into what I post, please

the one big thing we need on O is a power RB. a young bettis/tj. duckett type. we need to spell WM to be successful. this type of bruising back and a change-up w/ Shaud will be a huge upgrade and JPL preserver
