  1. "I don't choose to run very much - that's not going to be my forte, scrambling around," Bledsoe said, "but I do feel that I can be very effective moving within the pocket. That's something that I worked on and have worked on throughout my career, and it's something that I can buy myself a little bit of time to get the ball to the true athletes on the field. I rarely saw him move around effectively in the pocket. and he says all his career??? wtf??? AND he had allot of true athletes in Buffalo that were open more times than not. How about those horrible throws behind guys, into defenders, his game altering fumbles!!!!! http://www.dallascowboys.com/news.cfm?id=4...016377D819A4B50
  2. wow, those Drew Bledsoe Cowboy jerseys must be flying off the shelves. (open the link in estro13's post and look to the right)
  3. we need to look at this a little more closely. Drew always has some very good camps. And why shouldn't he? He's been doing it long enough. But during the season he doesn't look like the same take charge type of guy. The reason? It's practice. He would have mopped up the field with JP in a camp competition. They are not allowed to hit the QB and the Defense isn't coming at him with true bad intentions. What you would see is Bledsoe getting more time to throw, more confidence. Of coarse, he knows he's not going to get his lung squashed in practice. So he's more poised. Camp to me in that respect is deceiving. JP's first camp, what happened? he got hurt. Know why? he was trying too hard, got downfield running and Vincent is colorblind. Seriously, the competition would have been in Drew's favor which does not neccessarily equate to regular season success.
  4. excellent point. he does get hit in that manner quite allot. I guess he isn't taking those sacks though, the one's where he get's drilled into the ground and landed upon. You know, Drew Bledsoe style.
  5. the first year, it was only the 1st 8 games basically that Drew was on fire. Then defenses remembered "hey this is snow-shoes Drew back there. Let's get him." He started to stink the 2nd half of that 1st season.
  6. how about when the offensive line would do that thing where they stood up and reset? anyone remember this? They were a great team to watch. They also perfected the shotgun formation if I recall correctly.
  7. he should have been ejected. a member of the coaching staff for a team that wasn't even playing, coming on the field and laying a hit.... wait a minute.....It was Mo Lewis, not Marvin.
  8. Boller? Drew is a 12 yr vet. He SHOULD be better than Kyle Boller. And he has had some great talent at WR to work with. Boller doesn't have half the supporting cast that Drew has had the majority of his mediocre career
  9. it's on yahoo, but not on ESPN yet http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oD...nball&type=lgns
  10. wait a second. so he's not okay with Buffalo naming a starter without a competition, but he's okay being named a starter in Dallas without one. Makes sense.
  11. say you just got a divorce from a woman, although very classy, she kept you from great things for 3 years. You are letting go with no problem, but you still have to discuss that b*tch for few weeks to kind of get her out of your system. that's what it's like
  12. ...sounds like he's discussing his tax deductions with his accountant. and he has to pay in
  13. they did get a load of that. the last O-play we had against them last year, I believe was a pat pat INT. trust me they remember this guy.
  14. my finger is too tired from his 3 years here
  15. who's ready for the New Testament????
  16. i'll agree with you a little there. It was one of his better traits. But I think the jury is still out on Manning and Brady, because they don't get hit very often at all.
  17. damn! and that was a game that drew "won" for us (adios Bledsoe, y tome su mala toma de decisión con usted)
  18. i can't stop. that head reminded me of that movie and I can't stop laughing here at work. "He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow!" http://funwavs.com/wavfile.php?quote=278&sound=53
  19. shhh...your gonna give the boy a complex... http://funwavs.com/wavfile.php?quote=2843&sound=53
  20. that was truly a GREAT game. one of the best. And I feel the Cowboys should have come away with it. I remember that game so vividly. That last play never gets mentioned, you are right about that.
  21. mind's been open plenty of times and for many years. I just don't like watching it, I can't imagine listening. Now, I've GONE to races in the past and had a great time. TV and Radio just doesn't do it for ME. So come on at me with yer greese under yer finger nail, and swing that crow bar at me. So what? It's a POST on an internet forum. I'm really worried about getting "killed".
  22. I hope that's just a bad artist. Look at the size of that head!!! "Look at the size of that noggin. It's like Sputnik..." "Heed! Paper! Now!!!"
  23. listening to it on the radio!!! http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...media_sirius_dc
  24. Old Danny White was a pretty good ball player. shattered allot of Roger's records quietly and quickly. I also liked the fact that he was a damn good punter too. Back in the days when the cowboys had real class. Oh, but if you speak to the Bledsonians, that's what Drew will bring back to their organization.
