    Bruce didn't play with Washington until his 11th year in the league and I wouldn't call Ted mediocre ... He was an elite nose tackle.

    Don't forget he had two catches in the game but McDermott chose to accept the penalty on the play because it resulted in a first down vs a short 2nd down

    I have to question if you ever watched Bruce Smith play... At no point in Hughes playing career has he ever had the same level of quickness Bruce had. Bruce used to completely take over games when he was on... That's never happened with Hughes
