Haynesworth, as reported, lost a bit of weight (30 lbs?) during the off-season. So its not a fat thing. Its a not being ready for camp thing. Wait, actually, its a" Shanahan's way or the highway" thing.

the accounts of training camp are becoming so varied now that I am questioning everything I read here. Still...... 1) I went the first day, and it looked like #14 didn't want to be there. 2) #5 is clearly the top qb. 3) #4 is decent, but not at the level of #5 4) #10 looked like every drill was the very first time in his life he had ever tried what was being done, and with every first throw, everyone in the area would have been wise to duck. There was a huge difference between the first time he did anything and the second. He would also occasionally throw a sick-ass laser beam that #'s 4,5 and 14 could only dream of throwing.

Considering where part of that money (us) that Maybin is making is coming from, Wood has every right to say what he did. It may not play well on the D side of the locker room, but I'm sure its playing just fine on the O side of the locker room. When I saw them in pads yesterday, and reading about a fight today, I'm feeling a whole lot better about things this year.

There was one somewhat shortly thrown pass early that lee dropped, thinking how it just made me appreciate L Fitzgerald even more: Larry would have punched that DB's grandmother to walk off the field with that ball.

its not so much that the striping is "wrong" as much as they are "incomplete". the sleeve stripes are lacking border stripes. The pants are wrong, but also unnecessary. There are already decent white throwback pants that would work just fine with these shirts. Either whomever decides these things at OBD is not the most meticulous person in the world, or Reebok is having trouble matching the stripes , which i suspect is the right play here. bottom line, though: this outfit is so so so so so so so so so much better than clown outfits they wear now. Someone HAS to get to these people at OBD, somehow, to make th entire throwback set permanent.

Too many holes and too many rookies needed to produce. Head Coach is awful on game day. Schedule is too tough. Listening to Dan Freakin Dierdorf all but call the Bills a bunch of pussies during a broadcast late last season was too much to handle. 3rd and long problem on defense (hopefully) will be addressed with Byrd, but he may not crack the lineup right away. 5-11 and only hoping for the Bills to pull off 2-3 wins wins at the end of the season and finish strong.
