Mark Chapman has parole hearing this week at Attica

I'm thinking John might be a little more forgiving. (Too bad he killed him. Otherwise he might help him out.) -
I don't know how many of mine are long, or short (it's in my med records somewhere). but just the thought that I stop breathing 100 times an hour was pretty bad. When I found out that at least some of those stoppages last one minute, or more, I thought "WTF?"
-
Cool. From what I remember my condition sounds about as bad as yours. I stop breathing 100 times per hour, or so. for up to (get this) one minute at a time. (Yes, I realize it can't be one minute 100 times per hour. Nonetheless, that doesn't sound like it's a good thing.)

What I do? -
I'd prefer he didn't talk about teams that interest me, as he sucks. Period.

That was he first excuse explanation. I wonder what his third attempt will be? -
Great news. Keep us up to date. I have never used a b-pap (not that there is anything wrong with that), but have read a bit on them. I wonder how it differs from a cpap with pressure relief (like CFLEX)? In the cpap with pressure relief, the pressure is reduced on exhale (a programmable amount). That sounds similar to what the bi-pap does, although it may do it actively wile pressure relief is a passive system. Anyway, did they go into that with you?

I think you are all set, then. Looking forward to his reaction. I bet he will be thrilled.

I've only tried the Nica Libre 1990 once and thought it was quite good...especially for the price. Another great price performance cigar, IMO, is the Sanho Panza Double Maduro (l like the Cervantes). It is beautifully boxed pressed with a silky wrapper. At about $3.50/per it's hard to beat. I still prefer Padron of course, but sometimes a good budget cigar is in order.
-
The price is quite good for 20 decent cigars and a humidor (especially if the humidor is usable). The cigar selections is a bit more subjective. For the most part, they aren't bad cigars. Some are actually fairly good for their style. The thing is, not many of these cigars are to my taste. I'd like some fine, use a few as cigars to smoke when nothing else is around and give the rest away. That isn't because the cigars aren't good. It's just that I tend to smoke maduro cigars and prefer fuller bodied cigars and Nicaraguan tobacco. I guess the question you should get answered before you buy this is, "What does your Dad like to smoke?". Some people have a broad range of tastes and like different kinds of cigars at different times. Believe it or not, my taste in cigars is broader than a few guys I know. Some guys only like mild creamy cigars and some of these might be too strong, etc. Finally some only like the cigar they smoke and don't like to experiment. I'm sure your Dad will like this even if he isn't crazy about some of the cigars in the package, but if you can get an idea of what he usually smokes and/or his favorite cigars, maybe we can find you an alternative that would make an even better gift. Overall this is a great idea for a gift for a cigar smoker, IMO.

Who agrees with the statement by Peter King?
The Dean replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. JP often had that same experience, BTW. But those aren't the situations I am referring to when I talk about pressure of Trent's own making. Situations when he is simply getting mauled from the get-go are when he needs to deliver than check-down, and he does fairly well with that, IMO (much better than JP). But maybe he's so used to doing that it's hard for him to break out of it when the pressure is "normal", if that makes any sense. -

I think you may be right about all that. I was going to post something similar, actually. I think Trent seems to be accurate when everything goes his way. But as was noted earlier in this thread, that goes out the window when he is pressured or forced to move in the pocket. Now, it's true most QBs are less accurate when pressured, but some do better than others on the move. It all seems to go to hell with Trent. The most troublesome part of all that is, some of that pressure is of Trent's own making. This isn't to excuse the terrible OL play. Clearly he isn't getting the best protection to begin with. But if he would let the ball go before his WR make the cut, before he is WIDE open, and trust his guy to make the play, he would have less pressure to contend with. Of course, this requires great accuracy. Is Trent actually accurate on the medium-to-long routes? I can't say I have seen enough to know for sure. I think if he were confident in his accuracy (and in his WRs) he'd let the damn thing go. Maybe the coaching/game plan was holding him back. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as I want him, or any Bills QB, to succeed. But if I were the HC, he'd be on a short leash if he continues to demonstrate reluctance to let the damn thing fly. -
What? A thread on Off The Wall got off track? NEVER!

Nice Hunter Thompson avatar! -
Roscoe is pretty small and fragile. Has he been injured (badly? often?) on punt returns? I do think punt returning is a tad more dangerous than kickoff returning, though. You can get blasted while fielding the kick on punt returns. That rarely happens on KO returns.

You got it. And I question TE's accuracy downfield. I'm not saying he isn't accurate, but I haven't seen enough of it to be sure he is. -
Thanks. Good info. I shouldda known that.

We actually had that Boots Randolph record in our house, when I was young.

Wasn't that ?

Me too, aj. Me too -
I don't recall if TT was a dynamic returner in college. But either way, TT was the clear starting back from the get-go (he averaged almost 14 carries/game his rookie season). That is not likely CJ's role this season. If so, then he probably shouldn't return kicks on a regular basis.

So, I click on the link thinking to myself, "The 3 Stooges must have been REALLY old, even if this was from 30 years ago."

Good luck tonight. The world needs great music, and book, stores. There are too few of them these days, IMO. Fortunately there are still great liquor stores around. But still too few, IMO.

Yes, that's my plan. But it's good to have a fall-back. I can get up to watch the game, no problem. There may also be another airing not yet scheduled. I may even ask the local bar if they can DVR the game and show it at happy hour the next day.
