Kim Pegula's Incredible Journey: Orphan to NFL Owner

Hell just got a few degrees colder. -
I agree. Both are better on their own. But if I had to point a finger, I'd say the asparagus ruined the bacon---because completely on their own bacon > asparagus.

Ashley Madison leak -- the fallout begins

Indeed. That is when HE isn't smiting, doling out HIS wrath and stuff. According to legend (er, The Bible) HE is capable of forgiveness and quite the opposite. I know you understand that, but I think it's important to mention, so we have a fair and balanced conversation. What really kills me are Christians who are hateful and vengeful. For the most part, Christ was one loving and forgiving son-of-a-deity. -

I can understand why you would be skeptical. But there are, indeed, people who have even more extreme and preposterous positions on taxation than you. That you assumed you subscribed to the most radical anti-tax position in our society is interesting though. -

Yes, it is absurd. Doesn't mean some don't believe it. Edit: I'm not even sure some "believe" it. But some espouse it. -

Great story by Sal. Maybe he should stick to profiles. If this is any indication, he is more skilled in this form than at writing about sports. The Bills, and people in WNY, should be extremely happy to have this woman involved at/near the top. I know I'm very happy, as a Bills fan. And the format is pretty slick. Good web design. -
That's great stuff. They have a channel on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC67f2Qf7FYhtoUIF4Sf29cA

Did anyone else hear Gabe Northern on JMS last night?

Sal was embarrassing making stupid stereotypical remarks about Canada. ("Do you say eh a lot in the house", "Do you go to Tim Horton's") Sheesh. What a putz. -
Not that it should matter to the Bills, but Nassib is having a pretty good game, tonight. I know, it's against the Jag's second string. But he is moving in the pocket, escaping the rush, throwing mostly bullets on the run. Fairly impressive tonight. Good for him.

Now some on the lists are targets for extortion: http://krebsonsecurity.com/2015/08/extortionists-target-ashley-madison-users/ (Looks like the site is under attack. This link may not work right for awhile. The home page is still active, it seems: http://krebsonsecurity.com/) -

Are you suggesting you know for certain NOBODY on this board is against all taxes? There are several groups in the USA who preach just that (some of them "religious" groups). Now I admit, I don't know for certain there are any hear who believe that. But just as I don't know for certain any here are gay (or albino for that matter) I just assume a few here probably are. I could be wrong. Why did you feel the necessity to pop in? Did you feel like you were suspect? A response to suggesting some tax on profitable religious organizations was met with the response of "Why not give everyone's money to the government" as if that was an in-kind rebuttal. And the idea some might believe all taxes should be abolished really isn't that far fetched (even though, to me, it seems like it should be). Apparently we have someone who believes it's OK to scam money from dumb people. After all "that's what life is all about". What? I have no idea what you are getting at. If you are against all taxes, but like roads, I'd say you have some rethinking to do. I didn't say you thought that. Again, why did you feel the need to pop in? Did it seem like I was talking about you? -

Then it was poorly prepared/cooked. Again, I only tried it once, but it was extremely tender and had a nice crisp to it, too. -

Had lunch last week at a new Italian restaurant in the area. Been there a few times now. Easily the best Italian food in St Augustine. Anyway, my buddy ordered the Octopus salad. I tried some. Freakin' delicious! -
I think those are fair points. I'm not completely confident in any, but I feel better about all of them than I did a month ago. If TT gets the nod, I'd like to see Cassell as #2. But if he goes down or is totally ineffective, I'd probably start EJ and keep Cassell at #2. (Keep in mind, all of this given the very limited information at the present time.) I'd do the reverse if EJ gets the nod out of the gate. I have always liked the #2 QB to be an experienced veteran, even if that guy has limited skills. Cassell fits my idea of a #2 QB just fine. One more thing I can't believe I missed. This offense, a "lamborghini"? Now THAT'S funny. I think we're all hoping for at least something like a new Corolla or a Civic, and less like Kenny's Pinto.

"The power to tax involves the power to destroy". So we're going with slogans in this discussion? OK, here's mine: "Freedom isn't free. It costs folks like you and me...Freedom costs a buck 'o five" -
Is this seriously a thread? Nassib may turn out to be OK, but why would the Bills need to consider him, at this time?
-
Fair enough, I can't disagree with that. I know when EJ throws a ball like that he is blasted here (by some) for not making a perfect pass. But I agree that a good WR should make the catch--or at least make a better effort. One thing I noticed (which I always seem to notice with EJ) is EJ always looks very composed. Even after getting sacked, bad penalties, his own fumble---he looked calm and ready to play. That isn't what some people tend to say about him, though.

Tax charities, if they aren't non-profit! The Catholic Church, for one, is very profitable. (I'm Roman Catholic, just so you know.) As I said, if they are non-profit treat them like non-profits. What does God have to do with it? And I stil don't understand where the "give all of everyone's money to the government' comment comes from. It has NOTHING to do with what I posted.
