  1. I remember that. Just thought it was a random cheap-shot. WOW
  2. Seems like most of the QB classes, the past few years.
  3. I agree. There may be a good QB (or more) in the 2018 class, but damn if I can predict who it will be. Last year there was Watson, at least, as a clear NFL QB talent.
  4. As in the other moves, I think where he was picked in the draft is irrelevant. If they only get a 7th, for a guy who gives them versatile depth on the bench, I'm not for it. If they have no plans to play Henderson, no matter what, then sure, take the 7th.
  5. Ditto. His sexuality was no shock.
  6. Henderson hasn't played (except for 1 game, and a bit in preseason) since 2015. I think that might be the real concern (coupled with the Crohn's). Back when he was playing he looked pretty good, as a swing player, IMO. I wouldn't make too much of his preseason performance, as he was coming off a long illness/period of activity.
  7. It's really crazy if they do not.
  8. I think you've cracked the code!!!!
  9. Indeed. But that one was just a joke thread, right? Truth is, I never checked it out.
  10. Yes, the Bills issue was too much WR depth. Cut them all!
  11. Hard to believe that's a thread.
  12. Ha! Belicheat is a GREAT coach, and an OK GM. If another team's GM took a crap in Belicheat's mouth, I'm sure some of you would say, "What a genius! BB stole nutrition from that GM and gave up nothing. Why can't our GM get guys to crap in his mouth?" Jimmy G had value. BB could have saved him, or traded him. We'll see how this trade works out. If Brady gets hurt, but only say for 4-5 games, and the Pats* lost those games and miss the playoffs, then it was a bad move. If they turn the draft pick into something special, and Brady lasts a while, perhaps it was a good move. But right now, it's just a trade.
  13. He stole my line! Bastard. Very funny stuff, though.
  14. D'OH! Just reread your post. My bad.
  15. Would he have signed with them, as a FA? Now they have the inside track, or can franchise him. Maybe still a bad move, but don't pretend like there isn't a benefit.
  16. Back at ya. Where you live gives you no special insight. Nor who you follow. There are die hard Bills fans, all local to WNY, who completely disagree on the merits of various players. So bring something more to the party than that, if you want to have an intelligent discussion. Cousins will be a sought-after FA and will be paid a handsome sum to be someone's QB, next year. That, in an of itself, suggests he is a fairly decent NFL QB.
  17. NE doesn't need a QB for the scout team. Brady does it all!
  18. Where you live isn't relevent in today's world. If you think a QB isn't good, at all, and isn't a leader, you don't give him $24mil. There are LOTS of QBs who are no good, and can't lead, who come with a much lower price tag. I'm not suggesting Cousin's is a top-tier QB. But he's a proven NFL starter. Not a bum. Then again, Wasington's "brain trust" is pretty questionable. So there's that.
  19. Trading the pick, for more picks, has always been Belicheat's style.
  20. I don't have Rosen as a can't-miss prospect. I'd take a proven NFL QB over him. Why? He's a FA, isn't he? EDIT: Oh, do you mean if the tag him?
  21. They put the tag on him, and are paying him $24 million to stay. Yes, they must HATE him. Seriously, maybe there should be a minimum intelligence test to post.
  22. That's not what my conspiratory theorist friends say.
  23. He went to the game, after he was traded. He was THERE. No prior knowledge needed.
  24. Yup. Also, it's easier to re-sign a player, than to bid against the entire league. At least a bit, if he likes it there.
  25. Um---OK. Nothing to do with my post, though.
