  1. The Patriots just can't help to play a close Super Bowl, huh? Exciting stuff!
  2. Yeah, it was nice. And the crowd with the banners was neat, too. I mean, don't get me wrong - Hey Jude is one of the best songs McCartney ever wrote, and it wasn't a bad choice.. just not what I would've chosen for a Super Bowl halftime show, y'know? I just hoped his halftime show would be some of his great upbeat rock songs (of which he has many) and exclude some of his brilliant ballads.
  3. And he kept it moving, too, kept it rocking the whole time. I could've done without Hey Jude (maybe She's A Woman instead, or maybe Jet?), but even that wasn't a bad choice.
  4. I would much rather have the Bowl on a Saturday, too, so I wouldn't have to worry about going to work with a hangover.
  5. I have too, and I agree it was a good script - it wasn't perfect, but it was one of the first drafts, so no worries. But yeah, it's gonna be awesome. Great cast, great director, great screenplay... you can't miss!
  6. I was pleasantly surprised by the Batman Begins commercial. A lot of new footage shown that haven't been shown in the teaser trailers so far. That movie is going to rock your socks off.
  7. That's almost as bad as asking "What? I thought Limp Bizkit wrote 'Behind Blue Eyes'!"
  8. It was great. Paul can still do it.
  9. I also really like this idea. Plus, it's actually plausible; as opposed to the ideas of trading Travis Henry for Randy Moss...
  10. I thought women naturally came with an "orgasm button." It was called a clitoris, I thought? Oh well! Now the unskilled men of the world can get their ladies off, too, though.
  11. I've yet to see the Bills win at home when I go to games, so maybe it's best that I don't go.
  12. The only thing that actually intrigued me about the XFL at the time were some of the rule changes, which I liked. No extra points was a novel approach, as was the opening sprint in lieu of a coin toss. Too bad everything else, from the team names to the players to the presentation to the hokey forced story lines, sucked hardcore.
  13. I love this sort of logic! Bledsoe can single-handedly win games, but Brady didn't have nearly anything to do with either Super Bowl win (never mind leading them to the winning FG each time at the last few seconds in both games). Okay. Just checking.
  14. Now that I will look forward to!
  15. I don't think anything as expensive to install as the turf cam will be widely installed next season. Think of it as the Matrix-esque instant replay camera angle they had for the 2001 Super Bowl; where they could take a replay and pause it, then twist it around and look at it from a different angle. That didn't see any big use outside of that game.
  16. Yeah, but that doesn't make sense. If he wanted the media spotlight on him for more attention (which you claim is his goal - the most attention possible), he would've waited until just after the Super Bowl or around the draft, when interest in football is still high and he can still be a big focus of attention. Retiring now guarantees he's merely a brief "oh, and in other news" sort of thing. Unless he has some sort of vendetta against the teams or players in the Super Bowl where he doesn't want them getting attention or something or you think that Emmitt decided to retire now specifically so that everyone would talk about his Super Bowl achievements, which they would've talked about anyway, I guess.
  17. How is that selfish? As you said, he's going to get less attention than he would if he waited until next month, since it's Super Bowl week.
  18. Wow. Okay. If you find sibling sex (even if they're not your siblings) appealing, more power to you then.
  19. Uh, yeah. I get the appeal behind threesomes. But I don't get the appeal of twins. Who are, uh, by definition "sisters." Meaning, you're fantisizing about two incestual sisters and you. I think you've been listening to country music a bit too much...
  20. I don't get the appeal of the "...and TWINS!" marketing campaign. Someone explain why imagining yourself in a threeway involving incest is attractive, let alone helps sell beer. Talk about appealing to the lowest common denominator.
  21. It depends what they saw during their peek. But who was better at their peak? It's tough to say since Moulds' peak occured when the team was horrible, but I'd go with Reed regardless.
  22. I would bet everything I have on the Patriots not going 3-13, if I were you!
  23. Good for him and the Eagles. This could make the game interesting.
