  2. Covid has ruined the global supply chain so far resulting in inflation. Computer chips , lumber prices , high cost of shipping and large slowdown , shortage of new cars , many retirements on and on.
  3. A big problem is the stress on hospitals and high cost to insurance companies and businesses.

  6. Look into Monoclonal Antibodies by Regeneron , seen a news report of a vaccinated dr who caught covid , high fever but felt much better after treatment, very recent case.
  7. Get a fingertip oxygen / pulse rate device from drug store , amazon or medical supply store.. I used it for irregular heart beat but it shows oxygen level. Normal is high 90's , 85% or less not good. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  8. I'm sorry to read that. The vaccine is not 100% effective but if it saves your life it's well worth it.
  9. The unvaccinated have botched the pandemic ,unless the horse dewormer works for them.
  10. Did Trump pressure the Afghan gov to release at least 4600 prisoners in 2020 and Pakistan to release a Taliban leader in 2018, just a yes or no
  11. • The U.S. envoy chosen by President Donald Trump, Zalmay Khalilzad, has publicly confirmed that he requested and secured the release of senior Taliban official Abdul Ghani Baradar from prison in Pakistan ahead of negotiations to end the war in Afghanistan. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/aug/18/instagram-posts/posts-correct-about-trump-administrations-role-rel/
  12. Fact-check: Did Trump free 5,000 Taliban prisoners during his term? Mitt Romney: The Trump administration worked to free 5,000 Taliban prisoners. PolitiFact's ruling: True By August 2020, news reports said that the Afghan government, which was not a signatory in the Taliban-U.S. deal, had released 4,600 Taliban prisoners after pressure from the Trump administration. Afghan officials considered the release of 400 other prisoners problematic because they had committed major crimes, Voice of America reported. https://www.statesman.com/story/news/politics/politifact/2021/09/01/trump-taliban-peace-deal-afghanistan-prisoners/5673035001/ VERIFY Yes, the Trump administration in 2020 agreed to the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners This is true. Yes, as part of a deal made with the Taliban in 2020, the Trump administration agreed to the release of up to 5,000 Taliban prisoners in exchange for the release of up to 1,000 prisoners “of the other side.” https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/verify/afghanistan-taliban-united-states-deal-5000-prisoners/536-202b0ae9-6251-44d3-a3d0-b9e7d029aed9 By full control of Afghanistan is to have all bases manned with full air support and enough troops until evacuation was complete. Relying on the Afghan military without US logistic and air support was a disaster. Yes I do blame Biden not Trump for the failed evacuation.
  13. Trump drawing down to 2500 , releasing 5000 prisoners and the Taliban leader in prison in Pakistan was crazy. The US needed full control of the country before starting evacuation I do put that on Biden.
  14. The Grim Reaper drone will get even from now on. Keep the troops safe .
  15. WNY brewery leaves 13 beers on table reserved for U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/wny-first-line-brewery-leaves-13-beers-on-table-reserved-for-u-s-troops-killed-in-afghanistan/ This nice gesture across the country is very appreciated by veterans just like me.
  16. The Chargers and the Rams eventually will pay $645 million each for the privilege of moving to L.A. The owners who will be receiving that money decided on Wednesday to give the franchises an extra year to begin making installment payments. I trust Kathy will do her best to get state funding for a new stadium.
  17. In order to evacuate Americans and Afghans after we leave Aug 31 we will need the cooperation of the Taliban . In order to strike ISIS we need the cooperation of the Taliban who can give us intel on their location. The Taliban hate ISIS as much as we do.
  18. If covid causes a team to forfeit a game and all players lose a game check , it will hit the fan. Especially when the Bills have a real chance of going to the SB. I feel sorry for McD , Beane and the fans NFL informs clubs that COVID-19 outbreaks among unvaccinated players could lead to forfeited games In addition, players on both teams will not be paid for the lost contest, and the team responsible for the cancelled game due to unvaccinated players will cover financial losses and be subject to potential discipline from the Commissioner's office. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-covid-19-outbreaks-unvaccinated-players-forfeit-cancelled-game
  19. Why is there a chip shortage? Bosses at the tech giants appear sharply aware of this. The chief executives of Intel and IBM have both said recently that the chip shortage could last two years. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-58230388 Long article, it's more then covid. Mr Köse says, however, that the pandemic was not the sole cause of the chip shortage: "That was probably just the last drop in the bucket."
  20. It was a fatal mistake to be there more then a few months in the first place after seeing the result of the Soviet invasion there. Never should have overthrown Iraq they were the counterweight of Iran. We allowed the Shah of Iran a US Ally to be overthrown also. The US policy in the Middle East has been a disaster to say the least. The US had plane hijackings to Cuba in the 60's , would have been the right time to start having secure doors to the flight deck. Still having hijackers with box cutters in the cabin would put passengers in fatal danger to gain control. The passengers would all die if the door was opened but not known by the pilot.
  21. Supreme Court throws out Biden administration eviction moratorium Updated 9:46 PM ET, Thu August 26, 2021 The Supreme Court on Thursday blocked the Biden administration's Covid-related eviction moratorium. "If a federally imposed eviction moratorium is to continue, Congress must specifically authorize it," the court wrote in an unsigned, eight-page opinion. https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/26/politics/supreme-court-eviction-moratorium/index.html
  22. If they have to forfeit a game and not get paid they will take it serious and face the wrath of the fans
  23. The White House previously had said it couldn’t extend the eviction ban again after the Supreme Court ruled in June that the policy could only be renewed through legislation. It’s unclear how the court will respond to this new moratorium, but it could at least buy states and cities more time to distribute the $45 billion in rental assistance allocated by Congress. Just around $3 billion of that money had reached households by the end of June.
  24. CDC issues new eviction ban effective through Oct. 3 https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/03/cdc-to-issue-new-eviction-ban-effective-through-october-3.html
