  1. Depends on who takes them. For example, Rosen on the Browns would be tough to watch but Rosen on the Giants and he would be a top 5 QB in the league. I have them ranked 1) Rosen 2) Darnold 3) Allen 4) Mayfield 5) Jackson 6) Rudolph 7) White Of them, I think 4 will be starters in the NFL. This is the best QB draft in at least the last 10 yrs, maybe the best since 2004. If we don't get a QB in this one then shame on us.
  2. The rest of the story is plausible (although highly unlikely) but the compensation doesn't make sense. Two 1sts would be too much to give up. He's not under contract unless they let him play out the year on the franchise tag at 23m guaranteed which could backfire for a number of reasons. 1) he could get hurt 2) that's more than he would make if he was inked long term 3) he could have a great year and then demand the highest contract in the NFL (Cousins type money). Spotrac says Jimmy's value is 18 mil per over 4 which seems super low. They used Brock Osweiler's deal as a model. I think based on the hype from the end of last season Jimmy will want to be over 20m annually. Unless they had it worked out ahead of time that he would sign what they would consider a team friendly deal that makese sense for everyone, it would be a big risk and a lot to give up. He could pull a Cousins and bet on himself and keep playing on the franchise tag every year until he's ready to get the highest contract ever. That's probably why this trade would be so unlikely. There's a lot that would have to be worked out and both players and all 3 teams would have to be in agreement. That's a lot of moving parts!
  3. watch him vs the Jags in week 16. wow!
  4. Shanahan prefers Cousins. it was highly speculated prior to landing Jimmy and now that Cousins is finally available and probably not that much more expensive than what they might see as an unproven player in Jimmy it might make sense if Jimmy wants too much money. they haven't signed him yet for a reason and not sure what that is. this is probably a ridiculous rumor but i'm trying to make sense of it if it was true. that would be one heck of a splash though
  5. Washington will franchise Cousins. 49ers will franchise Jimmy. They will then be traded away so off the books. 49ers assume Cousins 34m tag but have until July to restructure. Same for Bills in assuming Jimmy's franchise tag which is much lower and doable. Yes, Washington and 49ers would both want some compensation. Not sure what they would look for but the Bills have picks and players to deal so it is very plausible that they are able to offer more than other teams in that regard. Having exclusive rights to negotiate with Jimmy would be worth the picks given up because otherwise it would be a bidding war and he would end up in NY, Denver, AZ. This would guarantee he signs with us long term because this would all be worked out behind the scenes before the trade goes down. Jimmy having worked with Daboll and running a similiar type offense that he ran in NE would be a positive for us in getting him to agree to sign here long term
  6. 49ers want Cousins, Cousins wants 49ers, he will agree to sign a team friendly deal to make it happen. If Bills want Garapollo then they need to give Washington a 1st or they won't send him to 49ers and 49ers won't send Garapollo to the Bills. 49ers could wait for Cousins to hit the Market and not sign Jimmy but then there's no guarantee Jimmy comes to Buffalo. If the Bills want Jimmy then the only way to guarantee it and avoid a bidding war is to send a pick to Washington to put this all into motion. Nobody knows if it's a 1st or if it's a player or what it is. But you best believe that if the Bills want him they have to give up something to put this into motion and lock him in. He's not coming here otherwise. But anyhow, there is a 99% chance this is facebook BS so who cares
  7. it's a 3 team trade. Jimmy is tagged by 49ers. Cousins tagged by Washington. Bills give Washington 1st round pick and a player, Washington sends Cousins to 49ers under the tag but they have until July to negotiate a long term deal that would surely average less than 35m per year and he has already said he would take less money to go to a favorable situation. all of the details would need to be worked out ahead of time by all teams and players. Jimmy also needs to be willing to sign a long term deal with the Bills who will surely make him the top 5 highest paid QB if not the 2nd behind Cousins. hopefully he liked his spaghetti today
  8. he could sign it, Washington gets his rights which they then trade away, he gets to go to SF to be with Shanahan, they have until July to sign a long term deal (details of which would be worked out ahead of time to ensure everyone agrees), Janine comes here and haunts Belichick's dreams. it's almost too perfect... why would they do it you might ask? Shanahan might prefer Cousins and they might have been negotiating with Jimmy and saw that he was going to cost just as much so why not just get the guy they really want. i think it would be dumb but hey if they want to do that i'd be down
  9. i've actually never been. fine italian dining for me usually means Olive Garden. make sure you use call ahead seating on the weekends!
  10. if they had taken him to Tempo i might have believed this story. if they wanted him to sign a long term deal too then maybe Chophouse
  11. I heard a rumor on facebook that Justin Beiber is a shape shifting lizard and he was seen changing form by hundreds of people. I'm not even kidding. https://www.buzzfeed.com/bradesposito/reptilian-justin-bieber?utm_term=.qnJ97mlWg#.mvdJmK9zb
  12. i don't think i trust the scouts enough to give up that much to trade up for a QB. they would probably pick the biggest bust of them all. they will take Todd Blackledge and then Dan Marino will be picked in the 20's and we would have had him without trading up
  13. Luck rhymes with ****... Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing but you have all been put on notice
  14. link? otherwise please update the thread title that this is your opinion. makes it sound like breaking news from somebody who knows what he's talking about
  15. He can learn to throw left handed and still be better than Tyrod
  16. They dont care either way so they should give us our pick of who we want and that is how it will be decided. Seems fair to me
  17. A move straight from the Belichick playbook. These scumbags deserve each other
  18. i did and they still went .500
  19. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  20. anyone know where Tre White was during the super bowl?
  21. i would like for the Bills to make the decision for him with a devastating hit this season
  22. he would be a backup and a replacement for Peterman. surely anyone could get on board with that
  23. cue the "there's nothing else to do in Buffalo" jokes
  24. hmmmmmmm Kenmore Kizer?
