Looking for some good vibes and thoughts for tomorrow. I am riding 100 miles in the Pelotonia bike ride. This charity ride is raising funds for the Ohio State U Comprehensive Cancer Center, the James Cancer Hospital, and Solove Research Institute. Weather forecast does not look great (50% chance of showers), but my mind and body are ready. Unfortunately, I could not find a Buffalo Bills cycling jersey to wear. Thanks. Day started out grey, damp, and windy. As soon as we started to clear Columbus proper the skies started to clear and a good tailwind was provided. Couple of real challenging climbs in the Hocking Hills area, but all ended well in Athens. A cold beer, fresh hamburger, and a wide seat from a chair never felt so good. Looking forward to next year.

Give yoga a solid consideration. I've been in class a couple of times a week for the past 2 years and my golf game has improved greatly. Not that it was great to begin with, but . . .

I read somewhere, where I can't find again, that DirecTV is planning to drop Versus from their channel list due to declining viewership. That puts a bunch of pressure on G Betman to get a tv contract with another provider (ESPN?). Also, I know that there is a limited interest on this side, but the Tour de France would lose it's US broadcaster.

Go early and walk around the parking lot and soak in the "flavor". Do the Bills still open the practice dome for pre-game? Get to a farmers market on Saturday and get a real apple and fresh cheddar cheese. Schwabl's for a beef on weck. Ted's for a hot dog. Agree on seeing the Falls. Check the Maid of the Mist schedule and see if it is still running that time of the year. Don't forget your passport if you do go into Canada. Check out the view of the area from Chesnut Ridge Park.

Agree with comments on no tennis shoes. Everything pressed. I would also add no / minimal logos on the shirt.

Hearing / reading on how the selection process is taken it sounds very political. "I'll get your guy in this year if you get this guy in next year. Wink, wink." To me some of the recent selections are somewhat disputable.

Does the job require that you have a car? Can you take the bus, ride a bike, have someone drop you off / pick you up until you save enough cash?

Co-worker mentioned yesterday that the Clunkers web site makes mention that the government is scanning the connection while on that site. I have not confirmed this, nor do I intend to.

I thought the architecture in / around Rock Ctr / Wall St. to be interesting. WTC site is right near Wall St. And there is a fire station just south of the WTC site that has an incredible piece of art on the side of the building.

If I was to pick a place it would be Orlando. Sister lives in Jax and BIL has a second home in Orlando. I have visited both many times. Jax does little for me. Orlando is centrally located, great airport, major league team in the area, and seems to still be growing.

IIRC, the futher up you get on the floor the seat become more "restrictive" as that is where family / friends of the inductees sit. My opinion, the stadium seats are better for seeing the ceremony.
