  1. So the site about cheating in the NFL is breaking the rules of the site?
  2. Fantastic Half of them are writing letters to Kraft telling him to stick up for Brady lol. Gotta hand it to them, they are sticking to their guns.
  3. Ah, I saw a whole lot of "defeatist attitude" being talked about it, and just wanted to be clear that I don't believe any of that bologney. Just that it will happen, and it will annoy us. I am beyond ready for us to get into the playoffs! We are rising to fight again!
  4. Man, they are sold hook line and sinker that Brady has done nothing wrong, and that science proves it.
  5. I completely agree that winning is what matters. I would be the first to argue with anyone who says our achievement is devalued because Brady wasn't in. I was arguing against that very point in December for the Buffalo vs Pats thread. That doesn't mean there won't be a whole lot of "buts" come time when we finally make the playoffs. Trust me I don't believe in it either, but it will surely happen. Our own fans said it at the end of the season last year. The NFL Media will be all over it. It will be THE story next year. So sue me if I would rather bypass that and hit the patriots hard in the draft. That's just my opinion.
  6. It matters when you are 3-21 against them and they have 11/12 division championships. Your team is about to turn it over and finally compete, and the NFL handicaps the pats. I don't know, it feels wrong, and I have no doubt that will be the talk of the NFL rather than what it should be - The Bills finally bring down the Patriots and take the AFC East back.
  7. While I agree that they are a bunch of cheaters, and should be suspended, our rise to division champs would be overshadowed by everyone claiming it was because Brady cheated and was out for the year. I know it is crazy, but I want to see the best teams playing against each other. No I don't hope Brady breaks a leg (Although I yell for Mario to do it every time), no I don't hope gronkowski fractures an arm. Do those things happen? Absolutely. Should there be repercussions for cheating? Absolutely. Brady is a good QB. You cannot deny that. Removing him from the game is a punishment, but at the same time is a gift to us. I don't want gifts. I think we can beat them without a handicap. You only need to look to the last game of the season last year to see an example. Our own fans were claiming the win doesn't count.
  8. Too bad the Jets got him! I saw an article that speculated that the Seahawks might get creative in order to lower the cap hit by fully guaranteeing a lesser contract.
  9. Russell Wilson is a decent QB. He does not deserve the money of the top QB's though. He was #10 in the top 10 last year, and I would say Matt Ryan (#11), Philip Rivers (#12), and Eli Manning (#15) are better QB's. Who was ahead of him? #1 Tony Romo #2 Aaron Rodgers #3 Ben Roethlisberger #4 Peyton Manning #5 Tom Brady* #6 Drew Brees #7 Andrew Luck #8 Carson Palmer #9 Ryan Fitzpatrick....?! #10 Russell Wilson Yes those rankings don't factor in rushing yards, but I don't think that puts him above the top 7 QB's and not above Ryan, Rivers or E Manning. Edit: As for the argument above lesser QB's getting paid a ton, I don't think anyone thought it was a good idea the Niners signed Kap to that deal either......
  10. What are you talking about? The Colts informed the NFL prior to the Colts-Patriots game. Are you implying they were preemptively sore losing?
  11. Maybe a year? Doubtful, but at least it is being talked about. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25177527 Again I will say I would rather see draft picks taken away instead of suspending brady, so we can beat them straight up, and not have everyone making excuses as to why we finally took the division.
  12. I think it comes from the spygate situation, tuck rule, brady isn't allowed to be touched rules/penalties, and of course that he is a good quarterback. Oh and that isn't mentioning that the media actually calls Brady "the golden boy". http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2014/01/manning-vs-brady-whos-the-real-golden-boy/ http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/01/tom-brady-hair-media-day-super-bowl And plenty more, but deflategate is breaking an effective google search.
  13. Some people argue we went 8-7 last year. I just don't want any qualifiers when we finally take the division and make the playoffs.
  14. Isn't this a dumb move from him since he won't be starting?
  15. Have you seen some of the comments he has made? It isn't far fetched to wonder why he would be willing to go back there. Maybe it was all talk, and obviously a job trumps talk, it is just a little surprising, that's all.
  16. I am also for a few games maybe along with a fine. Let's fast forward and say in 2018 they are caught cheating again. At that point what does the league do? It is obviously a culture of cheating. If it wasn't, it wouldn't recur so often. At that point do we count our blessings that Brady and likely Belichick retire? Do we suspend someone another 2 games? Should there be any escalation to repeated issues of compromised integrity?
  17. So taking into account a history of breaking/sidestepping the rules, what do you think their punishment should be? What do you think would make them stop, and take the integrity of the game seriously?
  18. Theres a quote in the report that says the investigators didn't believe the equipment guys when they tried saying they weren't referring to that Brady in the communications. Maybe there is another one running around asking for balls to be deflated.
  19. I am only thinking it because to me it seems like a suitable punishment. I would rather them play brady against us because I can hear the excuses now if we won. "Well they didn't have tom brady". I think we can beat them, and we are here to compete. I think the players would feel the same way.
  20. It has everything to do with your defense of the Patriots in this case, which is directly related to people wanting to ignore you. You are ignoring the body of evidence, so people are choosing to ignore you. It is pretty clear to me.
  21. Just saw this as well. You are quick! I don't see why he would sign with them, but it is all just business in the end I guess.
  22. Isn't there also the factor that if he was drafted, he can't renegotiate his contract until year 3, whereas an undrafted free agent can renegotiate by year 2? Whoever the OP is, should edit post #1 with all of this information, and we can then just say "Read post #1" On a side note, the dolphins fans are gloating about Rex supposedly making this mistake. I myself don't think much will come of it, because the rule pretty clearly states campus, or residence, but they sure are happy over there. I really hope they don't end up with Collins.
  23. Agreed, and if he isn't signing until he is cleared, this may be much worse of a wait. I don't think it means anything when he takes a pic with a few friends having a good time. An interesting tidbit at the end of the article is that Collins says the players paid for the charter flight. Could be Dolphins keeping all hands off for numerous reasons, but interesting nonetheless.
