Why are you so adamant against that possibility? Oh sure, we might beat them when it doesn't really matter.You almost sound like that you are trying to convince yourself that the leauge is absolutely above board in everything it does, nobody is coming on here and claiming that others are crazy for believing that the leauge is totally legit. Like I said, they have a choice to be sheep. Look, man, I love football probably more than the next guy/gal, and it does really hurt to realize that we are being fleeced, but sooner or later you have to come to the realization that money, marketing, and marquee players override everything.

Dude, that game was like ions ago, and although I myself believe that the games were manipulated as well back then,we didn't have fantasy, Draftkings, or fan duel back then. BTW, there are a ton of other ways to manipulate the game other than referees, you have scheduling, marketing, rules, or lack of enforcement of such. How about influencing a player as to where he should play, just to name a few. The refs are human, and like someone else stated, they know who the leauge favorites are.

I realize that it is difficult for some people to accept, and it sounds like you are among them,but sooner or later we all have to deal with the truth, just like there is no Santa or Easter Bunny.

I do however see a little shift in people's attitude toward believing that the NFL is rigged. You would have been shredded to pieces for proposing such a thing a few years ago, now, with all the BS from the leauge out in the open and there for everyone to see, ugly warts and all, people's attitudes are changing. FanDuel and Draftkings, and fantasy are really exposing the leauge right now. It isn't such a stretch anymore to believe that at a minimum, the games are being manipulated, and yes it it always the low man on the totem pole getting fleeced. The people coming on here and posting how ridiculous it is for other people to think that way, would even have to acknowledge some of this, or maybe they like being led. baa baa little sheepy!

I will say this much, Eli Manning, and brother Payton too, are plastered on just about every other commercial going now. Do you really think that Papa John's or Pizza Hut, or Pepsie, or whoever it is wanted to see Eli at 1-3 this early in the season. They want a return on their investment and if it looks like they may not be around for the big show (Playoffs), then they probably start pressuring the leauge subtly, or maybe even outright. The NFL is linked with big time advertisers and Companies, and they promote the big stars, when do you think we will see Tyrod on any commercials, no matter of his success? These guys are hand picked by the leauge and the advertisers, and they are going to get a return on their investment one way or another.

Of course they were trying to get the Fins back in the game, the leauge wants balance and competitiveness,only up to the point where the low life's don't challenge the favorite ugly stepdaughters. If you know what I mean.

As long as they do it legally like their forebuffaloe's did, I have no problem with it!

Ya know, here is the thing that really grates on me, they are so eagle eyed to not miss a single holding, personal foul, or even the faintest move on a false start, yet they miss the most obvious rules and infractions and blow calls that really impact the outcome of the game. IMHO, the worst officiated sport going, by far! It really stems from the over officious leanings, in the name of player safety, that the leauge exhibits now. Croc!

Have to be this for me, how many times do want to keep that bunch formation and run right smack intothe teeth of the # 2 ranked run D? When we spread it out, Taylor started having success!

I don't have much faith in this team being able to beat the refs anymore, there upcoming opponents don't seem to be that daunting, but we always seem to draw the most eagle eyed, all star, don't miss a thing on our side of the ball refs on the planet. 2-2 at best.

I like AW, but I didn't really care for his sideline antics before and during the game. The stupid mask he wore and all, just let your play do the talking, same for Rex, let your coaching to the talking and just SHUT THE HELL UP! I mean, who wears a stupid mask anyway?
