  1. Having the GOAT at QB helps. Peyton with the Colts was a contender every year. Rodgers with the Packers are every year.
  2. Objection. Manziel got lost in the sauce.
  3. And Demver paid DB's like Talib and Ward and got their own ring too. There are many ways to skin a cat.
  4. I'd be okay with it.
  5. You're equal but different to the culture that stones whores? Do you have any self-respect?
  6. 1 of those games was an EJ one. So doesn't apply. If Sammy got "healthy" after the bye week, why did he have surgery in the offseason to treat a broken foot? None of the rest of what you've been saying even matters. Because my original point, that you responded to, was that getting another WR at 10 would be a waste. Robert Woods averaged about 5 targets per game in 2015 opposite Sammy. Using #10 to replace those 5 targets is just idiotic.
  7. What was the post of mine you responded to? Just because you cherry pick half a year doesn't mean I have to.
  8. He was healthy? Why did he have surgery in the offseason then? Why are we ignoring the first 7 games? He got hot and had a nice streak of games. Not sure why that means the other games that he wasn't so great in no longer count.
  9. Sammy saw the 54th most targets in the NFL in 2015. He had less targets than Danny Woodhead. That was the Seattle game where we had a second round pick go off at WR, right? No need to use #10 for that. Get someone who impacts the game more than 5 plays per game.
  10. A new WR will get 4-5 targets a game. It's a total waste.
  11. Taking another WR with a top 10 pick when we have a QB who can't throw is bonkers. That's how you keep the drought going.
  12. I think you could see Kyle retire if TT goes. That's a really great point.
  13. The NFL's history of bungling controversy makes me cringe for how this will play out. How about a statement, "The NFL respects the laws of the federal and the state governments as the extensions of the will of the people. We do not condone any specific policy by hosting events in certain states." Boom. Story over. But of course, they'll screw up trying to please 100% of the people instead of settling for 99% and knowing that the 1% of lunatics will find something else to scream about in 2 days.
  14. I wonder why, with a GM committed to shoving EJ down his throat.
  15. Ha ha ha ha ha, you're kidding right? We're talking about the Doug Whaley who had to get screamed at by his HC to sign a QB not named EJ when it was apparent to everyone he sucked? The Doug Whaley, who so quickly vacillated between "me and Rex are finishing each others' sentences" to whispering in the Pegula's ears to fire him. We've hired 2 NFL coaches to work with Doug, and both couldn't get along with him. One we hit 3/3 with McD, Whaley will finally be shown the door.
  16. Well, I guess if losing the "control of the 90" means healthy, I'm all for it.
  17. Kiko was runner up DROY. Not a guy who hasn't played a down in the NFL.
  18. Police don't stop bad guys and crime.
  19. He's already on his way out. McD having final say on TT's option sends a loud and clear message.
  20. Whaley doesn't have the stones to do that when he's on his last legs in the Pegula's eyes. They'd probably tell him no if he asked.
  21. Nothing. The great secret about parenting is that everything you teach and tell your kids is based on your own life experiences. From the high-school dropout who started a small business and worked his way up to middle class, the 9-5 factory worker whose collecting his pension or the college-grad mid level manager, they told their kids the fundamental truths that they learned throughout their lives. The problem is that the world changes. The advice that they get is not always correct. College isn't the gateway for success it used to be. The majority of the parents out there working the same jobs at the same companies for decades fail to recognize the change in demand. However, "not always correct" doesn't mean some things still don't apply. More kids are feeling the long-term effects than ever with the increasing college debt, but if you work hard, do better, get as marketable as you can, and don't settle for dead-end jobs, you'll be okay these days. Some kids get screwed because they thought it would all work out if they got a degree in anything. Problem is, there's a fundamental lack in accountability for these kids. That's not a problem with the parents. That's a problem with a generation who demands the world change around them, then adapt. That and it's all overblown, like anything. Social media allows us to hear the crazies more than ever. And it's not an accurate representation.
  22. And yet, ditch digging remains king.
