    Getting to 8-8 that season was a combination of luck and Geno Smith actually putting together some decent games, neither of which Rex has anything to do with.

    I have praised Rex for being a defensive mind, because he is. So have many others. The flip-flop was more on his personality, bluster, gameplan etc.

    Rex Ryan had two great years in NYC in his first two and the rest of his tenure there was garbage. I think time is the exact opposite of what he needs. In fact, that makes it worse.
