  1. 6 straight 100+ yard games though. 8 TD's in that stretch.
  2. Mack would've been a DE in a 4-3 and that wasn't a need at all. He even plays RE now.
  3. I don't believe Moore was on the Jets ever, he was on Oakland for awhile, and wasn't terrible. They didn't confirm or say any of this, FYI, it's just my take on how it went down.
  4. Need another. Don't stop looking until you're sure.
  5. See above in regards to Thiggy. Wasn't Gay cut for Cundiff to possible replace Carp?
  6. The move was more motivated by the depleted WR group, IMO. Thiggy can't play WR, and we needed a guy who could. Moore was the best option to fill both roles. If RR decided to move on from Thiggy because of the ST woes, that's really disheartening, seeing as the poor blocking and the penalties were what sunk that unit, not the return man.
  7. Even if they lose out, Rex is getting next season his way. After that, anything goes IMO. The second ownership starts intefering with coaching, we set a very dangerous precedent for future staffs. That, more than the Browns firing Chudzinski, has been the reason for the Browns coaching misfortunes.
  8. I want the best QB available. I don't care for the pecking order.
  9. Okay. We'll see who our QB is in 5 years and reevaluate. Until you know who is going to be your starter for the next 5 years, you should always be looking, IMO.
  10. No. I don't. Rex didn't cut Thiggy because he was screwing up, he cut him because he wasn't good enough. There's a difference, I think.
  11. Chalk me down for "mortgage the future to find a QB" group. I thought I was clear on what I meant earlier, I wasn't trying to change contexts or twist words.
  12. I'm not saying you shouldn't give your opinion, just that's what I expect to happen. I just had my own personal "move on" moment back around maybe week 6. It was clear certain players don't fit the RR scheme, and there are many holes to be filled. And Rex will get his 1st round defensive player like always, while being lauded as a "genius." The problem with the DC thing is that Thurman is Modkins. The whole Defense is Rex's, and it doesn't go without Rex going, IMO. I hated it too FYI. But the Pegulas weren't canning Rex unless we were historically bad, and that ship has sailed. I think we hope for continuity, because I will lose it if we let certain players go this offseason, draft and sign new personnel, and then Rex goes after year 2.
  13. But the only player that matters is QB. So the risk is lower, because have 4 All-Pros on your D-line means nothing, when having 1 All-Pro QB means everything.
  14. Are topics for private conversations Beerball? You could always take it to PM. Kidding. Sorry.
  15. We seem to be talking past each other, can you repeat what you'd like me to address?
  16. Vs what? Mortgage the future for non-QB's and not even making it to a playoff game? More to the point, the Skins were garbage, but were still "one player away" because the one player they got was a QB, admittedly for a short while.
  17. Nope. That's what is gonna happen. It was obvious from day one. Prepare for the rebuild.
  18. When RG3 played like a franchise guy, none of those picks or players mattered. They still were winners and went to the playoffs.
  19. I read this as Hemet to Hemet. Damnit John.
  20. Nothing. Like I said, reallocate some of that hope to TT. Not healthy to bottle it up in one player. I don't expect perfection but by gum, I want it.
  21. "He'll never win more that 6 games."
  22. FYI, I think Harper got cut right after fumbling a punt. Not saying that's indicative of a larger point, but he DOES do it.
  23. Meant fridge was a goner.
  24. People don't forget, fridge. Extend some of that hope you had for the EeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeJJjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj man to TT.
