  1. Then why are we below .500?
  2. Calling Big Cat. Are you suggesting having a below .500 team while having the best offense of your career is a PRO of keeping RR? Or did you forget what side you were arguing?
  3. The 2010 NYJ had the 11th ranked offense in the NFL. The highest ranked offense Rex has ever had. Either way, its either his best or second best, and he's still finishing below .500. I thought you were making the case that Rex is doing fine?
  4. It's the second best he's ever had. And he's gonna finish right at his career average below .500.
  5. 5 years of Rex Ryan worked out poorly. Continuity for continuity's sake is not an answer, it's a buzz-word. Why not push for EJ to start for continuity? He's got Sammy and Woods chemistry to build on? Look at the Steelers, who has been their penciled-in starter for 10 years? Their QB! It's so obvious. #continuity Keep Spiller, he's been our RB for 5 years. #continuity Sometimes, someone just sucks, and doesn't deserve time. Rex is one of those. It's why he sucked in NY with "continuity."
  6. Having to play another QB because your QB is hurt does not count as not having "continuity." By your logic, the Steelers don't have continuity either, because Ben has gotten hurt. Your point is disingenuous and you know it. You're defending the Bills coaches just to defend them. Same song and dance.
  7. No, moreso the folks who too-often attack reporters when they disagree with their pieces, and then turn around and praise the ones they agree with.
  8. Who hired and fired the OC's? Oh no, a single GM change over 5 years? And he had to change QB's when his QB's sucked or got hurt. Unbelievable! Doesn't he know playing a garbage QB for the sake of continuity is the answer?!?!
  9. Some few posters said the Jets were the better team in the offseason. They were laughed at.
  10. I know. I was being facetious to make a point.
  11. Also, anyone gonna point out that Vic was wrong in the offseason about something and he's a talentless hack that knows nothing?
  12. Rex Ryan continuity worked out great for the Jets.
  13. Clinched post-season sucka.
  14. Agree with the last. TT doesn't own the job yet.
  15. Exactly. Either be good enough to not have to worry, or you have to deal with competition.
  16. The guy who plays the odds is usually right. Also Whaley has outright stated that next year's FA will not be a "splash" year. Unless we draft two ROY candidates, we could be in trouble.
  17. It's czar time alpha. Whaley's days are numbered as the Cowboy in the FO.
  18. Firing Thurman will be like firing Curt Modkins.
  19. If only we could use a pass coverage LB in the middle of the field.
  20. He was awesome in Pettine's D. A scheme that utilizes laterally quick LB's with a nose for the football and great coverage skills. We now have that scheme.
  21. You won't see again for a year, so savor it.
  22. Whoops, forgot the topic. My bad NoSaint.
