If people want to throw away $, that is their call. I take vitamins as well, but I don’t for a minute think I’m so protected from corona. If people believe that, shame on the, for their stupidity. Being healthy against corona or anything else is good, but doesn’t mean you can’t contract it. As Ron White from the Blue Collar Comedy tour said, “You Can’t Fix Stupid”. Love that comic. Not that I’m a drinker or smoker, but he is so funny with his wiseass attitude drinking scotch, and smoking a cigar on stage.

NFL Approves Rule Changes for Hirings
machine gun kelly replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tons of corporate America mandates diversity interviewing. I have said before in the medical device sales industry, which is cut throat mandates we interview diversity candidates. I’m fine with it as long as they are sharp. It’s a valuable use of my time. I’ve never been forced to hire a diversity candidate if not better than another candidate. That includes women. I’ve had someone write to me women are not a minority, but what they didn’t know is in this industry if they are in the minority in the role, they are a minority. It’s just a fact if you have 8% women in these roles, they are a minority. mandating increased interviewing, but not mandating hiring is fine with me. What I liked the most is extending to coordinators, or whatever if they did as well positions in the management development role makes a lot of sense. Again, interviewing, not hiring is reasonable. -
Seahawks-Browns discussed Wilson for 2018 #1
machine gun kelly replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve read a lot of conjecture, but the simpl3st is we trade up and if the Jets take Darnold, we take Mayfield, or the reverse. In my opinion, Mayfield is in a dysfunctional system which can contribute to him spouting off. I don’t see him doing that under McDermott. Darnold looks like he has not performed as well as Allen, but we have a top 3 defense and overhauled our offense. Again, better coaching and culture would have helped Darnold play better. Including Allen, any one these three QB’s would have a good chance for success at least in 19 and beyond. -
NFL.com: 10 Best Pass Catchers of 2019 (Diggs #3)

Davis is a stud. I understand people don’t know him, but living in FL I watched most of his UCF games. He runs routes so well. He will be a good fourth WR. -
R.I.P. Gentle Ben Williams
machine gun kelly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m sorry for his family he’s gone. I’m very fortunate I’m the youngest of four, and my parents had me when they were much older, but my dad (huge Bills fan) is 89. It was funny on NFLR they played the greatest NFL game if all time stated by many, the Giants and Colts. He recited to me half the game. It was the first time I listened to the play by play. Its sad when we lose these old timers. My wrestling coach was Al Bemiller, from the 60’s and what a great guy. -
Big Ben is back - Steelers AFC North favorite?
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taking Big Ben lightly is a mistake. He’s always been stout to be polite, but he still can hang in the pocket and make the tough throws, when others would go down. They were 5th in defense and 28th in offense. With Ben back, that offense will improve. We’ll see. A lot of pride on this board and that is fine. How about we win a bunch before as Parcells said, we crown them. My phrase as I’ve said before is cautiously optimistic. -
MJS, I’m with you in that there is a lot of hype we win the AFC, the SB, etc., and we haven’t beaten a playoff team since 1995. Winning the AFCE is realistic to hope for as a goal, and winning a game in the playoffs. I don’t know why people think we’ll win against the Chiefs or Ravens yet. It doesn’t mean we won’t beat them, but how can anyone be that self assured. If halfway through the season we beat KC on TR night, ok, then we can get a little excited.

This is more impressive because of Thielen on the field. -
I’m sure you’re kidding, but Montgomery is in AL unless there are two Montgomery counties. As far as him, he’s a moron. He has that kind of $ and can’t use Uber.

Teams can Begin to Reopen Facilities
machine gun kelly replied to TroutDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TD- It’s funny you bring this up as it reminded me of a conversation this week on Movin The Cains (NFLR). Kirwan stated we’ll see now that players have an opportunity to get together in AZ or FL and shows initiative. He went as far to say not just the QB’s and WRs, but also Lineman and all of the other units. I liked how he basically challenged leaders on the teams stating we’ll see who steps up as the coaches aren’t allowed to say anything. I loved it and there are remote areas in FL like Ormond Beach away from the larger cities where there are large fields. I hope Edmunds, Hyde, Hughes, Dawkins, and others were listening. The other thing is Gyms are opening at 50% occupancy tomorrow so they can workout as well as work on their playbook. Those who are the most prepared will come out of the gates fast this year. -

Thanks TD. At least it’s a first step. We’ll be lucky to have training camp in July. I agree it is a gues we might have a season, but can’t believe we’ll have fans, even at 25%. -
Mods, can you merge these two threads. I’m sure it was an honest mistake by the OP.

Raiders new stadium looks like...
machine gun kelly replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every person I know who has visited Lucas Oil, loved it. It was cost efficient comparatively speaking, and had all the amenities people love. -
All kidding aside, this is a stupid rule proposal. In management, my VP used to tell us to use diversity recruiters and prove we have made every effort to seek out diverse candidates. In my industry (medical device sales) women are also considered diversity candidates as the overwhelming majority of sales reps are Caucasian males. With that said, Greg always told us as long as we made all efforts to seek out diverse candidates, we should always hire the best person. When in you’re in a cut throat sales industry, not having the right person equates to suffering sales not unlike professional sports. I agree with the Rooney rule as it stands now and it’s intent was sound.

Zack Moss runs a 4.52 40 yard dash
machine gun kelly replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LA, exactly. The good news is next year’s draft class is rich in TE’s, although we’ll have to draft replacements for the guys getting older. I won’t bring up the draft again until next year’s off season. -

Singletary will get more carries, but Moss will have more TD’s as it just makes sense. -
My kids even older love the Princess Bride. I can recite about half the movie I’ve seen it with them so many times. Thanks for the laugh.

These guys are such knuckleheads. Why would any millionaire commit such an act of stupidity, and then not think they would not be caught? They deserve everything they get and if proven, they do real time. The Seahawks and Giants if they have any proof should fire these guys immediately, and because they broke the conduct policy, most likely could void their contracts.

James Harrison says Tomlin gave envelope after hit
machine gun kelly replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn’t agree more. I’m not indicting Tomlin unless there is some type of evidence like a video from a phone or something. I also am very skeptical of anything James Harrison states a decade later, but if there is proof, the discipline committee needs to severely punish the Steelers, Tomlin, and so on. I know you didn’t say it, but for others who do not know the CBA well, it’s not Goodell anymore handing out discipline. -
Anybody want to go on record about Josh?
machine gun kelly replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
MSW, you may be right, but Alex Smith was amazing at ball control, almost never threw picks, and was fine with throwing it away. Allen has to progress significantly to be in that ballpark. I’m very hopeful he will do it. I’m not going on record he will be one of the best as we haven’t seen it yet, but cautiously optimistic.
