  1. Yeah, that's not the first time Mills has sucked. If you're suggesting that Mills, or any other player, intentionally threw the first half of that game because of loyalty to Tyrod, or some other similar conspiracy theory, you're as high as xRushx. The Bills were a rudderless ship with Peterman at the helm. I'm sure, from your other posts, that you'd love to put that on Tyrod (or McD, or the entire rest of the team, perhaps). I don't. I put it on Peterman. They looked like a different team in the second half.
  2. There's this thing called, "the scientific method," and this other thing called, "peer review."
  3. I would agree that it is more likely that Peterman is on the Roster, come September, than Taylor. But, it seems more likely that if Peterman were on the roster, it would be as third string, a role that Taylor's contract precludes.
  4. In the second half of that game (which I attended), the coaching staff made the change back to Taylor. That wasn't serendipity either. It was based on Peterman's performance. When Taylor played that second half, against the same defense playing at the same intensity, the difference was remarkable. The Bills looked like two deferent teams. The Bills are not going to cut Taylor because they have Peterman on the roster. Peterman is not a viable starting QB.
  5. But, will it land on its feet?
  6. Easy, now. I chose my words carefully. I didn't call you a moron, or dumb, or as sharp as a bag of wet mice, or anything like that. I called your post dumb-- the dumbest in a really dumb thread. And it was. Although, you may have outdone yourself with this last one. Honestly, what else could I call your assertion that your opinion that, "most NFL players are just slightly smarter than a rock," (your words) is "100% fact?" It numbs the mind! I'm pretty sure I haven't violated the TOS. If we weren't allowed to call out posts we thought were dumb, there'd be a whole lot of empty space on this site.
  7. Well, to be fair, you kinda brought it upon yourself. You managed to submit the absolute dumbest post in an exceedingly dumb thread. Personally, I say BRAVO!
  8. Really????? I know Peterman didn't look terrible battling the snow when the Colts came. But, sheesh, he looked terrible in LA! And, Taylor played the second half and the difference was stark! Does anyone think that some team would offer us a trade for Peterman?
  9. Well, one thing this $6mil bonus signals, for those who think Peterman is a better option than Tyrod, is that McD, et al, do not.
  10. Is this really such a simple question?????
  11. Then, I assume, it doesn't phase you in the slightest when someone kneels during the anthem, if standing is meaningless?
  12. You added the word "political." But, of course standing for the National Anthem is a statement. Otherwise, what's the point? And, why would anyone care when someone didn't? If kneeling is a statement, then so is standing. Unless, of course, we, or the players are forced to stand. Then, it becomes meaningless. Also, if posters on this board needed excuses to voice their opinions, you'd better have a whole lot of them!
  13. Yes, seriously. We all make a statement when we stand for the National Anthem. Does that not fit your narrative?
  14. I, too, am allowed to wear any sort of political T-shirt, or whatever, while at work (as long as it is not obscene, or otherwise inappropriate), but I'm not sure that qualifies as an "action," per se. It certainly wouldn't affect my job in any way. Be that as it may, I have also never been asked to stand for the National Anthem while at work, and I'm not sure that I would capitulate if I were. Also, wouldn't standing for the National Anthem be every bit as much a political statement as kneeling for it?
  15. The above article seems like a much more reasoned take than the below comment.
  16. Yes, I meant Watkins
  17. Yes, but doesn't every thread turn into a Tyrod thread?
  18. I like the premise of this poll, but I declined to vote because the options are too specific. I probably would have gone for option B, with D being a close second, except that I think there are other trade scenarios available to us that I would feel better about. I also wouldn't mind us staying put, but don't necessarily agree with the draft choices.
