  1. They should have their voting rights revoked. This is who he is, and they defended him anyway because they don't actually watch the games.
  2. You have to wonder, what do the EJ supporters think when they see something like that? What's going on in their tiny little brains?
  3. If you're getting poor picture or stream quality, try plugging your USB cable into your laptop as opposed to relying on wireless, if possible. Definitely boosts my internet speed and creates a smoother stream
  4. I don't think anyone is rooting for the Patriots, but I'm definitely rooting for the Jets to lose. I think it would be neat to make the playoffs.
  5. I love Tyrod but if his MCL is still bothering him then this is the right thing to do. I was sort of worried that he would aggravate the injury on Sunday. Hopefully we can sneak away with a win this week and get some much needed rest during the bye week.
  6. There are real human beings with real human brains suggesting that EJ Manuel isn't terrible. Remarkable.
  7. The website lists Amazon FireTV so I would imagine it works? I dunno I guess we'll learn a lot about it on gameday... And I'm not sure about US outsiders but I figured everyone could watch it since it's being marketed as a global streaming platform.
  8. Gang - it looks like you can stream it using Chomecast, Fire, Roku, etc. Which is pretty sweet. On Sunday morning (10/25) you'll have to go here: https://nflstream.yahoo.com/ The instructions for loading the broadcast, whether through a web browser or smart phone, should be pretty clear on gameday.
  9. Well, we won 9 games last year, including the one against Garoppolo. I think we're going to be better and would take the over, but 8.5 seems like a perfectly reasonable O/U to me. I'm predicting 10-6, with a slow start (1-2) given the difficulty of our first three games.
  10. How's the Colts offensive line? Luck takes a lot of hits so I imagine it's not great right?
  11. I don't mind Joe B at all, but I'll admit I've only followed him for a month or so. I think Sal does a great job, and I too am coming around on Rodak...my biggest concern with him has always been his garbage deadline blog posts that often included erroneous information and typos. I haven't seen so much of that lately, but I've also been on ESPN a whole lot less.
  12. Draft him in a 2 QB league, near the end of the draft. In standard format I wouldn't touch him in the draft. Hope he proves me wrong though!
  13. Sounds like they're going to rotate all three QBs in with the 1s, but this is exciting for EJ. Hopefully he makes something of it.
  14. I just figured it would be the local CBS broadcast streamed through Yahoo, but I'm probably wrong.
  15. The Jets OL in '09 and '10 was much better than what we have. Still, if we can get average OL play we should see a marked improvement over last year's offensive production, even with lackluster play from Cassel.
  16. If our OL goes from "atrocious" to "mediocre" then I think Cassel will be a solid game manager. Not sure they'll make that leap, but here's hoping.
  17. Yeah, I think what bothers most people about Rodak is not that he's negative (he is probably overly negative) but that he posts meaningless articles to generate clicks (e.g., "Bills rank 18th in ESPN Power Rankings", "ESPN analysts [who are advocating on behalf of the teams they cover] predict 4 wins for Bills"). Reporting about mock drafts and predictions from your colleagues hardly constitutes journalism. Also, his articles are often filled with typos, as well as statistical and factual errors which is annoying to see in "The Worldwide Leader's" reporting.
  18. Just to recap...we traded our fourth round pick for Bryce Brown and then drafted his replacement in the fifth.
  19. You are 100% correct. Outside of the two flukey Giants teams (10-6 and 9-7 I believe) the NFC East has been the most overrated division in football for the past 10 years. But they're billed as "the most competitive division in football" because there's a different winner every year. Hmm, maybe that's because there isn't a dominant team in that division? If you look at out of division records over the past 10 years or so, they come in either second or third to last (AFC South takes this), yet they're often billed as one of the best. And it's because of what you said -- they get forced down our throats in primetime year in and year out and get nonstop coverage from ESPN and all the other talking heads, because those are the bigger markets.
  20. Well it certainly won't be Tyrod. I guess Cassel is the best option for now.
  21. ...our defense was great last year without him. It's not a wash, it's an objective fact that our defense isn't changed from this year to last year without him, by virtue of the fact that he didn't play last season. The comparison is McCoy vs. Spiller. That is clearly an improvement.
