You saw how good JP (with all his mobility) looked when there was a jail break on the sack. There was nothing the guy could do. Skill players need an o-line. It is fundamental. Did you see the kind of protection that the Pats were giving Brady and te size of the holes that they were opening up for their RBs? We have some promising skill players on offense. It would be nice if our o-line were just "good." Given the past 10 years of piss poor offensive lines, I would take "good" (as opposed to "top") right now. It would be nice if our guys had half a chance.

I agree with you. I hope that the Bills can find a way to keep him around for the year to help out the young players as a de facto coach. It would be too bad if they had to waive him in 4-6 weeks. P.S. It is kind of funny how some people are still mad at him for breaking JP's leg. The last time I checked, football was a contact sport and JP did not fault Troy.

He could be. I just do not recall. I actually like the show. Doug reminds me of Bills fans. I also remember that he wore a UB shirt on one show. It was a bit odd given that the character does not appear to have gone to UB. I presume it had something to do with Nick's Buffalo roots. As I recall, Nick did not go to UB though.

This will really give some of the Willis bashers reason to argue that he should sit/be cut/run out of town.

The good thing for Troy is that, because he was on the roster for the first game, he will receive is entire salary for the year.

I went to school with him (he is a couple years older than I am). He is from Buffalo.

I kind of like the way Leonhard plays -- in the little bit that I have seen him. He reminds me a bit of Kelso or Steve Freeman. He seems to know how to play the game. The question is whether he has the physical tools. He also seems to be a pretty good special teams player.

You are correct. Teams are going to run it down our throats until we can prove we can stop the run. Teams also are going to stack the box until we either make them pay with the pass or prove that we can block them anyway.
