  1. This is what I had posted some time ago:
  2. John Wawrow should not have to buy a beer in Buffalo again.
  3. Yes. This is good, because it shows (in my opinion) that JBJ's intent is to move team. That should preclude him and his Toronto money friends from being selected as the winning bidder. Just my two cents.
  4. State and County would sue. As far as meeting with Buffalo developers, I believe that is purely for show. Why would these money guys from Toronto and JBJ (who has wanted to own a team in Toronto) want to buy the Bills and keep them in Buffalo. I do not trust these guys to keep the team in Buffalo. I am not as naive as Ron Jaworski. Just my two cents.
  5. They have been planning this a long time. Once the lawsuit is filed (if JBJ were the winning bidder), it will be clear that JBJ would move the team to Toronto. JBJ should concentrate on buying another team and not embarrass himself (or Jaws) any further.
  6. You are forgetting the language of the lease. We also do not know what the terms of the Trust are. Given Ralph's desire to keep the team in Buffalo, I would not be surprised if there is language in the trust that favor's bidders who will keep the team in Buffalo. P.S. I am glad you like the joke about naivete.
  7. There is NO doubt that, if somehow the Trust ignored this and decided to sell to JBJ, there will be an immediate lawsuit filed in Buffalo. There is no way JBJ can be the winning bidder. It is even less likely that a judge (especially in WNY) will do anything other than rule in the state and county's favor given the language of the lease. Goodbye Jon Bon Jovi. You should buy the Toronto Argos or the Eagles. Stay out of WNY and keep your hands off of our team.
  8. Me too. I wish the keyboard jockeys at the Buffalo News realized just how good this guy is.
  9. No more lunch meetings with JBJ Roger!
  10. John standing up for truth and justice.
  11. I live here in Miami. I have some land in the Everglades that you might be interested in.
  12. It is. Stick a fork in JBJ's bid. Thank you John Wawrow.
  13. John - HUGE thanks for clearly exposing JBJ/Toronto group's plans for those who previously were too dumb or complicit (e.g., Ron Jaworski). This article could and should be a game changer in sale of the team. As far as I am concerned you deserve a Pulitzer and we will throw in a Nobel Peace Prize to go along with it. Great Job!
  14. In my earlier post, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and just thought he is dumb. You may be correct that he is complicit as well as a traitor to Buffalo.
  15. This certainly deserves its own thread. This is huge news and (hopefully) should put the nail in the JBJ/Toronto group's bid. Everyone who cares about the Bills should thank John Wawrow for showing without a doubt that JBJ's intentions are to move our Bills to Toronto. Of course, anyone with a brain knew that already. Perhaps, Ron Jaworski will realize that his friend was playing him. Someone should send a copy of the article the Trust and their bankers.
  16. If he were to sign an iron cad 100 year lease and move to Buffalo as his permanent residence, I then might begin to believe him. Maybe. The cat is already out of the bag. They are trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. If they were to somehow buy the team, how long will it be before we start hearing them make demands that cannot be agreed to and then claim that they have no choice but to move the team. This is a charade. I suspect both the Trust and the NFL already know this.
  17. Maria does look great. She also makes Floyd look like Tyrion Lannister
  18. I thought it was funny how Maria Sharapova towered over him. As a side note, Stuart Scott's speech was very touching.
  19. Well said brother! I grew up in Buffalo. I am a Bills fan because of my Dad and Mom. Although I live in Miami, it course through my veins. Nothing will change that part of me. By the way, if I recall correctly, don't you also have a Dutch connection (as I do)? My wife is Dutch. Hence, the Dutch team is my "second" national team.
  20. I know the original poster asked about propane. For what it is worth, I have had a Weber, but this past year, I went ahead and bought a Big Green Egg. I love it. I am still perfecting some of the things I do on it, but the darn thing is extremely versatile. I would recommend if any of you guys are in the market.
  21. I had no idea. That is great. I will have to check it out on my next trip to Buffalo. Thanks.
