  1. Hmmm, looks like I'll never get those 3.5 seconds back.
  2. Really, once the draft is over, how much does it matter when a player was picked. You should rate the draft based on the sum of who was picked and how they help your team.
  3. I'm surprised they graded us that high considering that a lot of "experts" say we reached for EJ. But I think this is one of our best drafts in recent years. Time will tell though.
  4. And then move CJ out of the backfield as another receiver. Who do you double-team?
  5. Pretty much sums it up. By the way, for those wondering, according to google translate the hi-lighted part means "What we know is little, that we do not know is immense".
  6. I can see it now, Williams with a huge hit on a receiver and the crowd responds "DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE!".
  7. Looking at the video the first thing that pops out to me is his closing speed. He covers a lot of ground to make tackles for short yardage. Plus, for his size, he hits like a truck.
  8. It looks like Pro Football Weekly is trying to make money by selling their draft preview.
  9. Peter King gave Larry a nice shoutout after Larry's final BN column last year.
  10. RIP, we shall all miss you. Classic Larry here...
  11. I'd put JP on the list just for the fact that in order to pick him in 2004 we gave up our 2004 2nd and 5th round picks and our 1st in 2005(#20). And who was picked at #24 in 2005? Aaron Rodgers! If we didn't pick Losman we would've needed a QB in 2005 and likely would've picked Rodgers. Although, Donahoe probably would've picked a flashy, undersized speed receiver instead.
  12. I love beat downs with facts when people spout opinions as facts.
  13. And if we pass on Nassib at 8 other teams might start to wonder about him, possibly causing him to fall to 41.
  14. Especially since they'll want to be sure that the guy they are targeting is still available at the pick they are targeting.
  15. Nassib at 25 and get an extra pick from Minnesota.
  16. Nix puts a lot of weight on durability when it comes to picking players. This leads me to believe that we won't pick Barkley. My best case scenario is that we trade with Minnesota for an extra pick or 2 and take the QB we want at 23 or 25. If we wait until 41 the best QB's will be taken just before we pick.
  17. Hi, my name's UpperDeck and I'm a Bills fan. (All: "Hi UpperDeck") I was born into it too. My dad used to take us to a few games each year and now I've been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and take him. Although I've had to weather the recent drought I still love going to games even if we lose. The tailgating alone makes it worth it. The comraderie is unbelievable. I bet I could go to a tailgate with nothing at all and would be able to have a full meal and plenty to drink just from other people offering it. I have so many great memories from the championships seasons and even some gems from losing seasons. That's what keeps me going. And every year there's the season opener, filled with promise for the coming season. Go Bills!
  18. Given that Buddy has previously been burned by waiting to pick a QB at perceived value I expect that we'll take one of them at 8 no matter what. I have a feeling it will be Barkely but if he and Geno are gone I wouldn't be surprised if we take Manuel. If we do I can't wait to see EJ, CJ, TJ and SJ on the field all at the same time. ;-) I don't follow college football so my opinion is based on what little I have seen. At the Senior Bowl EJ was the only QB that looked like he knew what he was doing. I also get the feeling (not based on his Senior Bowl play) that Tyler Wilson will be a capable QB in the NFL. I'll be happy if we take any of them. And if whomever we take does not appear to be panning out then take another one next year. We can't afford to wait any longer.
  19. If I remember the trade details correctly T Jax could've played 5 or 6 games without the draft pick escalating to a 6th. I know there was talk that he wasn't picking up the offense but I think there were bigger issues keeping him out. First, Fitz was well respected in the locker room and they didn't want to mess with that dynamic. Second, and more importantly, Chan was on the path to losing his job and he thought Fitz gave him the best chance to win and possibly save his job. Personally I would've preferred to see Jackson play a few games so we could see what he was capable of. The season was already over anyway.
