  1. I believe he's still at One Bills Drive. They just moved his desk and his red stapler down to the basement.
  2. Very sad ending to this one: http://news.yahoo.com/mickey-shunicks-body-believed-found-remote-wooded-area-003843619--abc-news-topstories.html The silver lining, however, is that this POS will be permanently off the streets now. Good thing that message board guy acted on his gut instinct. He probably saved the lives of several more young women!
  3. He's behind an injured McGee, Rogers, Brooks, and Prince Frigging Miller...
  4. It's why I'm hoping Moats not only makes the team, but wins the starting job at Sam LB. A legit pass-rushing 4-3 LB adds a whole new dimension to this defense.
  5. Yes, SUPER serial: 2 K - Lindell, Potter 1 P - Moorman 1 LS - Sanborn 3 QB - Fitz, Young, Smith 3 RB - Jackson, Spiller, White 1 FB - Mcintyre 6 WR - Johnson, Jones, Nelson, Graham, Hagan, Easley 3 TE - Chandler, Smith, Dickerson 3 T - Hairston, Pears, Glenn 3 G - Levitre, Urbik, Rinehart 2 C - Wood, Brown 5 DE - Williams, Anderson, Kelsay, Merriman, Johnson 5 DT - Williams, Dareus, Edwards, Carrington, Troup 4 OLB - Barnett, Moats, Scott, Bradham 2 MLB - Sheppard, Carder 6 CB - Gilmore, Williams, McGee, McKelvin, Rogers, Brooks 1 FS - Byrd 2 SS - Wilson, Searcy 8 practice squad - Aiken, Onobun, Sanders, Jasper, Asper, Gilbert, Chris White, Nesbitt I have Morrison as my only real controversial cut at the moment. But if you insist on seeing him on the roster as the 7th LB, I could also cut any of Potter, Johnny White, Dickerson, Easley, McKelvin, McGee.... people here are going to quibble with the particulars because that's what people here do...but my point is that keeping Troup as a 10th DL is really not that outrageous. If he shows us something in preseason, there are reasonable ways to make it happen.
  6. Maybe so. All I know is that McGee was covering #1 WR's as recently as last year, so it is reasonable for me to assume that a HEALTHY McGee will continue to do the same until the young guys are ready to take over...which could very well be now...but Gilmore has yet to play an NFL game, and Williams was behind McGee in the depth chart last year. That's all I'm saying.
  7. McGee is not playing with the starters because HE IS STILL NOT 100% HEALTHY. You're delusional and blinded by your creepy McGee hate if you think a fully healthy McGee on opening day wouldn't be responsible for other teams' #1 WR.
  8. McGee was the #1 CB last year. When he was healthy and in games, he was matched up with the #1 WR's from other teams. Williams wasn't, and Gilmore was still in college. Sure, Williams and Gilmore have more natural talent and are younger...but that doesn't CURRENTLY make them better CB's than a healthy McGee. There's more to being a good CB than simply measurables like size and speed. I hope Gailey and The Stache have more patience with McGee's health situation than the fans, because (to me, at least) the huge upside of having him back justifies the extra roster spot.
  9. I'm rooting especially hard for the health of Easley, Wood, Troup, Merriman, and McGee. These 5 "injury-prone" guys, if each fully healthy and able to optimize their respective talent levels, could catapult the Bills from dark horse wild-card qualifier to legitimate AFC Super Bowl representative.
  10. I think the Bills are inclined to keep 6 CB's on the roster, so he will probably be given every benefit of the doubt. When healthy, he is the best CB on the roster.
  11. Keep in mind that Merriman, Johnson, and Edwards are all free agents after this season. Given the fact that we used a 41st pick on this guy and that he's been a failure here due to bad luck with injuries and not talent, I'm betting that the Bills give him at least one more full season. Can the Bills afford to keep 10 DL on the roster in order to accomodate Troup? Yeah, probably.
  12. Your lack of education is apparent, and I'm not just referring to your feeble attempt to spell "souls." Mental health disorders are actual diseases of the brain. Succumbing to one is not an act of cowardice any more than would be dying from cancer. This young man did not handle his illness responsibly, but that has nothing to do with a lack of character.
  13. Dear Mike32282, This is a terrible thread you started. You should probably consider banning yourself from Two Bills Drive. Please visit the MDP dating thread in the Off the Wall forum for clues on how to start proper topics during the offseason: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/147663-mdp-dating-advice-thread/ Yours truly, Mark Miller
  14. Take a look at the 17 remaining players that Nix and Gailey inherited: QB Fitz RB Jackson FB McIntyre WR Stevie J G Levitre C Wood DE Kelsay DT Kyle Williams DT Spencer J OLB Scott CB McGee CB McKelvin SS Wilson FS Byrd P Moorman K Lindell LS Sanborn* Say what you will about their talent, but all of them seem to be of the "high-character" type. Even McKelvin has received a lot of praise for how he handled last year's demotion. Looks like the garbage from that disastrous era in Buffalo Bills history (2001-2009) has been adequately purged. Hopefully Bills historians will see 2010-2012 as a turning point and not merely a continuation. *-Okay, I'm admittedly unsure about Mr. Garrison. He may very well be a primadonna locker room cancer that is tearing this team apart.
  15. Solid prediction. My only complaints: 1. You list 24 defensive players, not 25, so you have an extra roster spot. I'd use that spot to add Potter the KO specialist. 2. Colin Brown is a quality backup center. Given Wood's health history, Urbik's steady work at RG, and Levitre's past adventures at center, I'd keep him and instead move Jasper to practice squad for 1 more year of seasoning. 3. Spencer Johnson is the perfect backup 4-3 DL. Steady vet and good locker room guy who can play all 4 positions. Keep him and cut Heard (assuming Troup and Carrington step up their game this preseason).
  16. Please watch this video in its entirety (it's only 2 minutes of your time):
  17. Remember the beginning of the 2003 season? The end of the 2004 season? The beginning of the 2008 season? How about all those seasons since Rusty Jones left where the IR roster was nearly as large as the regular 53-man roster? I'll start "billieving" as soon as this team stops choking in big games and stays relatively healthy for a full season.
  18. A 10th DL is much more valuable to this particular team than a 4th TE. Carrington is also a highly versatile DL guy and a 3rd round draft pick entering his 3rd year in the league. If they insist on only 9 DL, then Edwards or Johnson or an unhealthy Troup are more likely to be cut than Carrington.
  19. Solid pre-preseason roster prediction, Meathead. Right now I'd only replace your 4th TE (Caussin) with a 10th DL (Carrington).
  20. Agreed. I think we keep 6 WR's plus Brad Smith as third QB. Johnson, Nelson, and Graham will definitely make the team. Jones and Easley are probable. The sixth spot will likely go to either Martin for his special teams skills, one of the undrafted no-namers who steps up in preseason, or Hagan/surprise veteran free agent cut from another team.
  21. Chris Kelsay is the worst player in the history of players. I rue that painful day in April 26 of 2003 that my Buffalo Bills drafted this DE/OLB chimera. Coach Edwards was going to be the next Bill Belichick, but Kelsay ruined everything. Mario Williams sleeps with one eye open every night, in fear that Chris Kelsay will sneak into his bedroom and steal his jersey number. I am overweight, unemployed, and can't get laid. Why? Chris Kelsay. The WNY economy will never recover until you-know-who is cut from this majestic franchise. I will not purchase a lunchpail or an electrical power tool until Buffalo Bills security removes Chris from the premises at One Bills Drive.
